I forgot to mention that I also found the original London cast recording of Cabaret with Judi Dench on LP for $1.00. I snatched it up (I've heard tracks from it but never the entire recording) and Anthony will transfer it to CD for me.

I would love to go to that flea market some day.

No guests either.  Very strange.  You would almost think it was Sunday.

So,here I am at the airport.  When I booked my car service yesterday I did as I always do, told them I was a nervous traveler and to please get the car there a liitle early so that it would be there when i came down.  I came down at 4:40 to leave at 4:45. No car. At 4:43 I called and they told me the car was two blocks away.  At 4:48 I called back, told them the car was still not there and that I was getting in a cab, which is exactly what I did.  Had a great cab driver who got to the airport in twenty five minutes.  Line wasn't bad at all and I was through security in ten minutes.  I'm now at the gate.  The car service will be getting a call from me when I get home.

I hate when that happens especially in the wee hours of the morning.  Thank goodness for cabs.

I wonder if the car service was just a block away.  I agree with DR Elmore to tell the car service to come 10-15 minutes  before you want. Because to me 3 minutes late is not really late. And the guy could have been around the corner.

Last night Keith & I saw this sundae, made with vanilla bean ice cream. on "Man VS Food".  You have no idea how much we both want to try this.

If only I had known this place existed when I was in Philly last year.

That picture looks so good.

Does/has anybody here watched the series Burn Notice?

Since we don't get USA it was never on here. But they've started showing the first season.

I watched the first episode and can't decide if it's something I'd like or not. I do tend to like the shows on USA (I love Royal Pains, White Collar and In Plain Sight). The lead guy is appealing. I was just curious if this is a must see show.

We watch it and have liked it from the very beginning.  I suggest giving it another try.  I remember some complaints about his mother.  With time she becomes more endearing though still tough. :)  I like her.

I watched the 2nd episode last night and liked it better. I do not like the mother. The next episode is on here today. So I may watch it now.  Or I might watch the new show Undercovers. Has anybody seen it? Or the Event? Or Lonestar? I recorded all 3 but have not watched any of them yet.

Btw, i have watched the first 2 episodes of the new Nikita. ANd I really like it.

Actually the car was eight minutes late when BK told them he was taking a cab.  At four-thirty in the morning, I could walk two blocks in eight minutes - even in NYC.

I hope not. I think we are going to have a very ugly ending to this game.

The Seahawks game may delay the start of 60 MINUTES in some parts of the country.

I watch TAR on a Canadian station. But this delay could delay the start of TAR for some people too.

I like the mother much better now.  I always understood where she was coming from and didn't have the same complaints about her as most people.

We watched the Event & will give it one more try.  I'm so so on it.  This type of series really isn't my thing.

Yes, he requested the car arrive early, however, I still call that only 3 minutes late.  He should have simply given them the time he wanted the car to arrive without additional info.

It was, of course, released on CD briefly - I have it.
