At some point, our esteemed BK will be asking why we haven't reached page five.

A woman in the store was asking "Where can I find the clarified butter?"  She was amazed to find out it was something she could make herself.

Hushpuppies.  I do love me them hushpuppies.

So to the loud puppies.

And I got me a pound or so of fresh chestnuts.  I think this time, instead of roasting them, I'll boil them.  Just to be different.

Good morning, all! There's been no word from my Drama Queen niece this morning, and I hope she will change her mind and show up later.  Jo's dinner smells wonderful, and I do look forward to seeing everyone who shows up today.  I doubt there will be any sign of the Macbeths. ok by me, but any anti-Macbeth vibes you can send around noon will be appreciated.

I had a wonderful visit with DR Ginny and Richard last night.  Good pizza, to boot! I'd been craving a pizza from Shaddock's all week, and it was mighty tasty.

I think I may run down to the cemetary this morning to see my parents' graves. I'll see if Randy was to go with me.  It will be my first visit since the burial in February. And then, I will be ready to head back to New York.

Tomorrow, I need all those travel vibes you can send my way.

You have my tenderest travel vibes, honey!

Can someone tell me when the taquito came into favor?  I do remember having my first taquitos quite some time ago, but I can't remember where.  I know it wasn't at a restaurant - could have been a fast food jernt, although Taco Bell has never had them.  Who made the taquito hip and famous?

I went to the 'graduation' of the fall quarter classes at a local acting school this morning - they've asked me to do a class in dialects for winter quarter. I tell ya - there was this little boy who totally knocked my socks off!!! Nine years old, and really has IT in a big way. Maybe two or three others in the whole program who could deliver lines with anybody at all driving the bus... but this one kid stays in my mind. I'd love to hire him for something, but I have a hard enough time hiring myself!!! No matter - he'll hit at some point.

I think I had my first ones with some sort of green chili sauce, somewhere near Hamilton High...
