So glad we were able to spare the sensibilities of the west-coasters.

I honestly thought that was a "gag" - i.e., they meant for him to say that and get bleeped, except that the timing was slightly off.  Coming as it did after the sight gag of the chandelier.  But I'll have to go back and take another look.

Less disruptive, but not the same.

I've been up for a while, answering e-mails and taking telephonic calls.  Mr. Wechter is visiting at eleven, which I wasn't expecting, so I may not be able to jog until after the Joan Ryan rehearsal, about three.

I highly doubt that Karl Rove has anything to do with Godspell!   ;)

Although conspiracy theorists might disagree.

 :)

Well, Karl sure is the modern day expert on rousing the religious rabble.

der Brucer

Can't you just see Rove whispering in Herod's ear?

Maybe that's why CBS didn't give you the "god damn".

That's my next movie...

An old-fashioned, Judy/Mickey "let's put on a musical" film, except...

...and here's the twist...

It's set in Washington, D.C.!!

We already have plenty of tap-dancers!

Tuesday greetings!  I had to be to work an hour earlier than usual today and I may get to leave 2 hours earlier than usual - what a deal!

On my walk to and from my early meeting at the YWCA, I saw some more City Life sculptures - Stormy Weather, Crossing Paths, Unconditional Surrender, and Second Hand News.  I'd been wondering why we didn't have one in front of the library, but I guess it's because they don't have one named Bottom Feeder.

Those are great sculptures, DR Ginny!

Do they cater to youth today by providing ones that say:

"To Whom It May Concern"

The Burton-Taylor PRIVATE LIVES was not one of the pair's better efforts.  It really hurt the momentum of Ms. Taylor's theater company, IIRC.

We already have plenty of tap-dancers!

The VP could sing: "Yes, you can get a man with a gun!"

The Supremes in a kick-line number!

Trent Lott and Nancy Pelosi dueting in "We Could Make Believe".

I guess its too late for Rummy to do "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going!"

So many opportunities....

I have had one of those mornings when everything clicked. I snuck out and went to Staples to get the cards to print, well as I was standing in Staples thinking that I should just go ahead and buy my phone system there today my cell rang....the phone company asking if they can come and install my phones this morning.  I said "Sure"  Bought the phones and went to the new office where the office manager gave me my keys!

Now the phones are in and working. Cool.  As I left and was walking right across the street from the print shop, my cell rang and it was the printers saying they had all my proofs ready - so I crossed the street and we discovered that the phone number on everything was wrong.  They had already sent the announcements up to their shop to be printed, but wonder of wonders they hadn't started them yet!  Whew!

And while I was there I told them I was going to make up some cards and they said they would run a quick 100 for me this afternoon so I have them to take with me tomorrow!  Wow! I like it when things work like this.
