Cilla, glad you won't be stressed if you are delayed.  Sometimes I am stranded at airports with people who are going to same day funerals, weddings, even planned births, etc.  I don't understand why they don't fly out a day earlier.

Hmm...  I was checking the website for Ford's Theatre just to see what they were doing next season.  Well... They're currently closed for renovations until their annual presentation of A Christmas Carol.  And then after that, they'll be dark until next year's presentation of A Christmas Carol.  I guess they are going forth with all the renovations to the theatre and the museum downstairs.

The Hollywood High School Alumni are currently working with Hollywood Heritage, a preservation group, to have the high school library named a historic landmark and be protected from the hands of the landgrabbers.  The library has been on site since 1912, and is one of the oldest buildings in Hollywood. In this picture taken during the Hollywood High School Alumni's 100th anniversary, the president of Hollywood Heritage Mark Wannamaker,   ( head of Bison Archives ), and cheif preservationist and lawyer Robert Nudleman ( one of the seven major forces to save Hollywood in Los Angeles magazine's Hollywood issue ) show off a panorama picture of Hollywood in 1913 in which the only remaining buildings are the school library, Yamashiro, and The Magic Castle.

Well, I suppose I should pack. I hate packing for a conference in a place that is having hot weather. It's always freezing in the conference rooms and really hot outside....too many clothes to pack!

I saw JOURNEY'S END in Lodon.  It was brilliant.  I'm glad it won for revival, though I wouldn't have been sad if INHERIT THE WIND had won.  I can't think of two more relevant plays for these times.
