Speaking of Satan, she just hung up on me. She apparently lives in Anchorage, AK, and gets mad and yells at people because she's illiterate and unable to follow instructions.

I have 2 or 3 Marcy records. Not a puppet, per se, but a doll, voiced by the woman on the cover. Bizarre Christian ventriloquist records are not as rare as you might suppose.

My favorite Marcy song is called "When Mr. Satan Knocks at My Heart's Door."

Lyrics!! We MUST have the lyrics for that one!!!

Is she, by any chance, related to the one who yelled at you for sending the package where she told you to send it?

Oh, no...that was Satan's little helper in Florida. Again - not one of my accounts.

Hey, how come you didn't show me those when we were going through our record collection? Afraid I would have nightmares maybe I suppose.

Whoa...I just learned that Little Marcy and her human live in Eugene, Oregon...just 1 hour to the south of me!

They even did a local 5 day a week show in Oregon...and that must be why I seem to have a strange recollection of seeing her on television when I was very, very young...probably while visiting relatives in Portland in the late 60s.

"When Mr. Satan knocks at my heart's door
I tell him NO! NO! NO!..."

That's all I remember.

When Mr. Satan knocks at my heart's door,
And says, "May I come in?"
I say, "No! No!" for Jesus loves me so,
And He took away my sin.
Then he turns around and runs away.
I hope he's gone away to stay.
When Mr. Satan knocks at my heart's door,
I just say, "No! No! No!"

DR vixmom - I checked the wire reports, there were no reports of an earthquake

POSSIBLE MEDIUM SPOILER

Makes me think of the MEDIUM episode we watched, different source for the quake though. ;D

"Commander in Chief" still works for me, too!  Last night's episode was pretty good, and Donald Sutherland is one of my favorite nasty villains ever!

He is good and so is his assistant.  Since the show airs late we will watch it tonight.

HOUSE has been showing re-runs.  I think they are afraid to put it up against COMMANDER IN CHIEF.  We are lucky we can record two shows at once.

And I cry, "C'mon in!"

I tried zabasearch, but it leads you right to intelius.  Both intelius and ussearch.com offer search by maiden name, which is what I want to do.  They both say they have the exact name I want, but who knows if that's true.  But ussearch offers money back if they don't find it, so maybe that's the way to go.

Finally, after a seven week absence, I was able to join my hiking group this morning.  It was a beautiful day, though rather nippy in the mountains, for our hike.  If I have any good photos I will most them later.

Here's a Marcy Page that lets you download her songs. Some of the album covers don't appear but the songs are available. This site, however, does not include the classic, When Mr. Satan Knocks at My Heart's Door

http://www.sharpeworld.com/marcy/pages/index.html

I think I'm going to H E Double Hockey Sticks for laughing about this. I'm not laughing at her though, I'm laughing with her.

Yes, we will be there. It's a busy week. Anthony is at the theatre right now seeing the new Michael John La Chuisa show (a friend got freebies), we're seeing Vertigo tomorrow and Friday we're going to the Big Apple Circus (again, due to friends who got free tickets)!

It's not a science, but there are more complaints about USSearch on complaints.com then there are about intelius. Doesn't mean it couldn't work, but I've just never heard anything good about these types of sites.

Hiya, Vixmom!  How're you today?

Very well thank you!  The sun is shining, the phones have not been filled with idiots, people are emailing me closing packages in a timely fashion and it looks as if I will actually get out  of here on time!!

(I have probably just 'jinxed myself'!)
