So, I decided to us ussearch.com, but call to give the info.  I got a very nice lady, and I gave her the maiden name of the person I'm looking for, and the area in which she lived when I knew her about fifteen years ago, and her app. age.  The lady took all the info, and the cc info and then put me on hold to verify - she came back about two minutes later and said they'd done a quick preliminary search and come up with nothing.  So, no charge.  My guess is that intelius would have charged my card, come up with someone who wasn't who I was looking for, and then I'd be out the dough.

I am now the proud owner of the Marcy Sings album - $5.00 from an eBay store seller.

Congratulations! LOL! I wonder how she will feel having a fan in a nice Jewish man?

I have to get going, too, to finish WALK, DON'T RUN and transfer some shows from the DVR to the hard drive on the DVD player so they can be edited for saving onto DVD-Rs.

And Ginny, fortunately this is not a "major reduction in force."  We went through that in 1985/6.  Before the library's very first director (Mrs. Morrison) retired, salaries were being paid from timber revenue, which is considered "soft money."  It could never be counted on to be there...but they expected it to be there because they were paying salaries with it!  Well, when Mrs. Morrison left, the next director was hired basically to be a hatchet man (although it was never stated publicly).  And he did his job.  It was practically a bloodbath.  We had a RIF situation that took a long time to really settle down and figure out what was left.  We're not in that bad a situation now, but still when positions are eliminated, it's sad that people have to go with them.

Now, you've got it! HALLELUJAH, I'M A BUM.

I need to get that on DVD, then I need to fashion a CD of the Rodgers and Hart music. "You are too beautiful," "I Didn't Wanna Do it..."

Frank Morgan is so freakin' funny in that movie.

In my entire life, I never thought that I would read someone say that Frank Morgan was freakin' funny.

Hey, how come you didn't show me those when we were going through our record collection? Afraid I would have nightmares maybe I suppose.

Our record collection???  Our???  Does Tpunk know about this arrangement?

Yes, I've tried every site known to man, but this person has disappeared off the face of the earth - searched her maiden name, her name, whatever, and was even willing to pop for the fifty bucks, but both intelius and ussearch saved me the trouble by telling me they have nothing on her.  Maybe I've been misspelling her name or something - I may go into storage and see if I have any of my old Day Runner phone lists.

We have been searching for a friend for years now.  I once thought I found him, same name, birthplace and age.  Then I found a photo of this person, wasn't the same face.

Waiting for this alum from LACC to come and sing for me.  Hope it's soon, as I want to sit on my couch like so much fish and watch a DVD.

Thank you, Jane and MBarnam. You didn't see the other 30+ that didn't turn out. It was not a good sky day most of the time.

While I was out this afternoon Keith ordered Chinese food and I picked it up.  I think we have enough leftover for two more days.  Sounds good to me.  We each make our own dinner and take turns using the one hot plate and the microwave.
