Well, you've read the notes, the notes were filled with words, and now it is time for you to post until the coherent cows come home.

Tivo alert for those HHWers who are so inclined (and you know who you are...or aren't, as the case may be)...the wonderful, and very rarely seen, low budget crime drama THE CAT BURGLAR (1961) airs on Turner Classic Movies this Friday PM...

....Not only is the film Taut, Tense, and Terrific, but it also stars Ms. June Kenney..and that is worth the price of admission alone.

Incidently, I have that Cat Burglar poster hanging in my office at work...often a co-worker will simply walk by and say, matter of factly, Taut, Tense, Terrific.

It gives me a chuckle.

...And I had a good time auditing the show from the Conductor's Room earlier tonight.  I'm feeling better about the show, in general, and it was nice to play along with the show and not feel so self-conscious about my playing.  -Just what I needed at this point in the process.  :)

The esteemed BK said:

I say this with no bragging - this place is something else again.

This place is the only place.  Ups, downs, highs, lows, births, deaths, spiders, cats, dogs, book, movies, mutual interests, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, NUDIE MUSICAL(s), BRAIN musical(s), MUSICALS, dvds, actors, actressess, aches and pains, I, personally am always amazed by the friendships, support, vibes, sympathies, empathies and the somtimes disagreements cultivated here.

No other place can truly lay claim to what that wonderful wizard said in THE WIZARD OF OZ:
"A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others."

Thank you, BK, for having the biggest heart of them all.

Aww.... I just finished watching tonight's episode of "Top Chef" courtesy of the DVR...

A friend of mine told me he was going to be on tonight's episode, but due to the secrecy clause he had to sign, he wasn't able to tell him why he was on show.  Well... After just watching the show, it appears he maybe got just a glimpse of screen time if that.  -And I'm not even sure if I glimpsed him.  In any case...

Good episode tonight.  Good challenges.

Well...  I'm planning to have the same day I had today tomorrow.  Wake up at reasonably early hour, get some practice time in before rehearsal, go to rehearsal, then attend the show (again).  However, this time I want to watch it from the house, probably from the soundboard.  I just need to check some entrance and exit cues visually.  Although, I may just hold off on that until later, and just ask the conductor about some of the spots I have questions about.  Like I mentioned earlier, I just don't want to get Poppins'd out.

Just thought I would defend the poor spiders and post a christmas legend about them -

From the Czech Republic....the legend of the spider.

 Legend says that once a poor woman was unable to provide the traditional decorations for the Christmas holiday. A spider, who had narrowly excaped the dust mop, made its home in her tree and began to spin beautiful webs. On Christmas morning, the first light of sun struck the cobwebs, turning them to silver. When the woman awoke, she found the tree covered with the silver treasure- the spider had brought her good fortune. :)

Good morning, all! My good plans went totally awry this morning, because I had planned to be out of the apartment an hour ago.  I overslept and that's my excuse.  Once again a rod to hell is paved by my intentions.  I need to stop at Toyland before dropping by rehearsal and I'll just be an hour late, that's all.

DR Ginny phoned me last night to tell me her sad news; I've been working with the phone's bell turned off so I missed her.  I just spoke to her and we both got a bit weepy on the phone.  DR Ginny's husband Richard  and I met the first day of seventh grade in Valda Wilkerson's music class, and he remained my best friend through high school.  Since our mothers dragged us around till we were sixteen, I've known Harriet Palmer for around 48 years, and I was quite fond of her.  I probably haven't seen her in 25 years, but she was a formidable lady who could still instill terror and fear in me at the age of thirty-five! She was always kind to me, and often very funny, but she was a Mother with a capital M, and I believe she raised three wonderful sons.  She always struck me as an independent lady who seemed to enjoy puttering around the house and lawn after her husband's death. I remember last seeing her when we gossiped over a fence around 1979. I think she was quite brave to agree to the surgery that ended her life. I always loved hearing the gossip on what Harriet was up to, and I will miss that.

DR Ginny, please give John, Richard and David my love.

Good morning!

The weekend with its cooler temperatures can't get here fast enough for me. Today, though, we're still in the mid-80s, and this morning, though I did open doors and windows and cut on the attic fan to cool the house down. It just wasn't that cool this morning - high 60s isn't really cool enough to adequately cool down the house.

Director Norman Jewison does a Private Screenings interview with Robert Osborne tonight on TCM at 8 (repeated at 11). I'll be watching.

Hard to believe with all of his successful films that he's never won an Oscar. I think the Academy should think about honoring him with a special award. They haven't done this already have they?

And that just honors his work as a producer, not a director (similar to the treatment of Alfred Hitchcock).

I used to HATE this kind of teachers' meeting. The ones of us who were doing our jobs correctly and well were bored out of our minds, and the ones who could do with some pointers never took the hint and never improved.

So, it ended up wasiting the entire day for everyone.

I noticed that the film CRUISING is being released next week in a new special edition that adds a bunch of deleted scenes back into the movie. I wonder if that will make it any more coherent?

In the theatrical version which I saw, the murder mystery element was a complete and total mess, and the real killer was never really found. Plus the intimation was that Al Pacino had turned into a psychotic killer himself. As I said, a total mess.

I'll be looking forward to reading reviews of this one.

The costume drama MR BK writes about in the notes is so familiar to me.  The person doing the costumes just gets an idea or finds something and figures "it will do" - and doesn't care.

I always do my own costumes when I am directing, or spend the "looking" day with the costumer.  I understand budgets and all, but I also know what is right and wrong.

We will see the Brain's face.....I think that will be a fine poster for DR MBARNUM's wall:

I found THE CAT BURGLAR neither taut nor tense....however, as DR MBARNUM writes, Ms June Kenney was terrific.

She has disappeared off the face of the earth - but those who worked with her said she was very serious about her work....she was a secretary who earned money for acting lessons and did parts on television and in a few B movies...and she was very pretty.

September 13: Mercury sextile Jupiter

Mercury loves facts and information. Jupiter wants to understand that data within a broader framework. Jupiter synthesizes various pieces of information that Mercury provides and makes them mean something. With Mercury's placement in Libra, and Jupiter's in Sagittarius, expect conversations about how to enhance relationships and the way people get along by grounding them within a moral or ethical context. The sextile opportunity aspect gives everybody a chance to deepen their understanding.

Yes, she is stil around, and she also did an entertaining commentary on the BURNT OFFERINGS DVD. She and Bette did not get along. Of course, I don't think Bette got along with many younger actresses in any of her later films.

Last night's dinner was a wonderful standing rib roast of beef - just two ribs, quite sufficient for the two of us - with broccoli and Yorkshire pudding.  This required earlier heading to the store for the broccoli and some horseradish.  (I simply cannot imagine having roast beef without horseradish.)

The best prepared horseradish that we carry at the store is made by Kelchner's, and it is kept in the seafood department.  I got over there and was greeted with a friendly "Well, hello!"  It was Joe, a young-ish and good-looking fellow who usually can be found in the butcher's department.  I've loaned him my copy of Sauces, by James Peterson, which he's still reading and enjoying.

We got to talking about different stuff, like my discovery of the Jessica's Biscuit (http://www.ecookbooks.com/t-welcome.aspx) website - I gave him the address - when he hesitated and said "I've been meaning to ask you this... how are things for employees who are out of the closet here?  Because I'm thinking about coming out myself."

My turn to hesitate, briefly.  It's not like I hadn't had my gaydar tweaked.  I gave him an honest answer: I haven't had any problems at all.  And there's Big Mike (who is leaving to work for another company).  And everyone has been very supportive of Larry, whose partner of twenty-two years, David, passed away less than a month ago.  And Ed, who mans the Customer Service desk, is well-liked.

This reassured Joe, but he pointed out that there's a different kind of atmosphere in the meat department, referring to a kind of machismo that hangs in the refrigerated air.  I understood what he meant - Albert, the department head, is a jerk with an attitude.

I thought for a moment, and suggested to Joe that introducing his other half might help.  "That was who was with you in your car a few days ago, when you passed me on the road?"

Yep, and they've been together eight years now.  I think Joe was a little startled that I'd put two and two together so easily - I'd really added one and one, but it was the same idea.

It led me to another thought.  "You might try talking with Bill and Chrissie - they've been together for a while."  Bill is another of the butchers, Chrissie is second in command in the fish department.  Joe raised his eyebrows at this thought, that approaching the matter as being part of a couple, with another couple, might be the best introduction to the subject.  He nodded, reassured, and liked the idea.

At that, I had to head to the cash registers.  Der Brucer was waiting in the car, and I had dinner to prepare.

It's going to be interesting, following what happens to Joe next.  I'm pretty sure everything will be fine.

Speaking of Jessica's Biscuit, I spent much of yesterday compiling a spreadsheet wishlist.  So far, the wishlist runs to seventy-five items, at nearly $850!

Fortunately for der Brucer, I'm not greedy, I can accept my wishes being fulfilled in fifty dollar installments.  That's what the first installment ran, and I've already decided which books I want in the second installment.

 ::)

Der B -  :-*

(One of the books in the second installment is called Food, and was written by Ogden Nash.  I'd like to see if this would be a good book for the younger grandlad, who is having trouble learning how to read but loves wordplay.  Nash should be perfect for him.)

It has something to do with a linkage engine, or something.  These people sign up for a different group, and end up being included on our membership list.

And Woody responded:

Actually, that's not quite the explanation. It has to do with something called "pinging" which I won't try to define. When Bruce posts the daily notes, this Web site "pings" around the world and many different Web sites and mail services are notified that a new posting has occured. This causes "bots" to come to the sight. Bots are (obviously) not human posters. They are computer operated and they are able to "sign up" as a member of the site. They do this because the software is old (in technology terms) and the sight doesn't use any kind of verification to prevent random sign-ups. You (the royal you) may have been to other sights which require registration and you may have had to type in a random series of letters or numbers into a box as a way to prove you are human. The bots can't do that and so fail to register. We don't have that kind of verification here.

If you look at many of the "user names" and their e-mail addresses you will see that the majority of them come from .ru which is Russia or other Eastern European countries. You can also tell when a "member name" is something like greatsex dot com or something equally unbelievable.

Bruce has no real Web master for the site (Mark Bakalor who helped him get this version of the site up and running helps him out on occasion when the photo uploader needs to be emptied) so the new "members" register and stay in the list even though they are not real. There are ways to purge the membership list to get rid of these bots but that takes time and someone who knows the software.

BTW (by the way in Internet lingo) I'm not saying that all new members who register but don't post are "bot" registrations but a large majority of them are of that type. I think many people think you have to register to read the notes but you don't. You can lurk and read the posts, you just don't see the pictures of our loverly faces and you can't post.

Anyway, that's a LONG answer to your question Arnold. I hope it made sense.

And now back to Foundation Land (Larry goes to Toyland, I go to Foundation Land).

A friend of mine from the NYC Gay Men's Chorus was one of the extras in the CRUISING bar scenes.  He claimed, around 1982, that the director, who may not be as straight as his IMDB credits would imply, must have a great gay porn flic assembled from all the cut footage of the activities the cast was encouraged with drugs to perform.

The vet called this morning to tell me that Callie passed about 1/3 of what she needs to pass before she can come home.  They have x-rayed and it's all in the lower colon which is where it needs to be right now. So, the poor girl got another enema.  I'll go visit her later this afternoon, but I don't think she'll be home until tomorrow or Saturday at the earliest.   The good news is if she can do this naturally, she won't need surgery. The other good news is that she was very healthy going into this,   so far so good....

I've had a busy morning: first a trek to Toyland, where I discovered after walking around my office for about an hour that my new bookcase had arrived and been set up. Color me clueless.

So, I met some of my 10th floor neighbors in my inquiries into internet service: all have Verizon, which told us they had no more open lines in the building.  We're checking on this now.  So, I called to report my findings to Matthew, our office manager, and he asked me if I was happy that we now had a refrigerator.  I missed that, too!  Oy.

That reminds me: Henry Willson's client was named Rush Hishonor, IIRC.

Then, I went to rehearsal and caught the second half of Act One of "The Brain."  It's funny.  During break, I answered questions about the synth patches for the MD, hugged Alet, gave DR Cason a hard time and left.

Then I treked over to the Equity Building to pick up  more "Brain" postcards, caught the subway home, had some lunch, and now I will tackle more "Brain" parts.

So, I will be seeing five shows:
The Brain from Planet X
The Last Starfighter
Such Good Friends
The Piper
Sherlock Holmes (The Early Years)

On October 8 (Columbus Day), the staff throughout our entire library district is getting together (those who choose not to go must use vacation time) for our annual All Staff Training Day.  We'll have speakers and break-out sessions and food.  I was planning on not going (for various reasons) but I've been asked to run the lap-top comptuer for the sound and slide-shows and other assorted and sundried stuff.  They need to know by today and I'm not sure that I want to do it.  I probably will, because I tend to agree to do things that I don't really want to do, but I don't have any reason NOT to do them other than I just don't want to...know what I mean?

I wasn't in the mood to open anything from the to-watch shelf, so I just took old reliable DR. NO off the shelf. I had never listened to the new Dolby DIgital 5.1 soundtrack on the set (I listened to the new DTS 5.1 the first time I played the DVD), so that's what I was doing for most of the little bit of afternoon I had left.

The DD 5.1 track is louder than the DTS, but the DTS is a bit more active in the surround channels, I think.

There's a commentary track on here, too, and I may switch over to it for the last half of the film that I'll finish tonight.

All that talk last night about trash cans reminds me about Lily Tomlin's old routine about trash cans.

You buy a trash can at a store.  They put it in a bag and you bring it home.
Then you take it out of the bag.  Then you crumple up the bag and put it in the trash can.

Back from a long rehearsal day (two complete run-throughs). I called the first run-through the Eugene O'Neill version of The Brain but without the laughs. :)

The second run was better, but some are still struggling to solidify what's working - we'll get there.  I'm not going to do two in one day anymore.  Tomorrow, for example, we'll do a work-through of the whole show, start to finish, but stopping and starting to fix things and address notes I've been giving consistently.  Then, around two-thirty, we'll have our full group and do a run.  We'll do only one run on Saturday, and then work things that need working.  Same on Monday.  Tuesday we hope will be a full dress rehearsal, same with Wednesday, with all extra time being used to work any costume change problems and address notes in scene problems.

Jose paid a surprise visit, and accompanied me to a little meeting I had to have with my General Manager, then suggested Chinese food for dinner.  Cason and BJ joined us at some restaurant with Cottage in its name.  We all ordered separate dishes - I, of course, had the orange chicken, extra crispy, and I ordered some cold sesame noodles for the table.  The cold sesame noodles were amongst the best I've ever had (no LA restaurant has decent cold sesame noodles), and the orange chicken was faboo.  I'll be going back.

In the theatrical version which I saw, the murder mystery element was a complete and total mess, and the real killer was never really found. Plus the intimation was that Al Pacino had turned into a psychotic killer himself. As I said, a total mess.

I'll be looking forward to reading reviews of this one.

I love the movie, CRUISING.  I bought the movie the day it was released, and I have watched and enjoyed it numerous times over the years.  I am looking forward to buying the DVD special edition, as soon as I can afford it.

I guess I never knew that about June Kenny.  Of course, I know her because of her films like ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE, featuring the wonderful former-DR Susan Gordon.  No one knows what happened to June Kenny?  How long ago did she disappear?

The vet called this morning to tell me that Callie passed about 1/3 of what she needs to pass before she can come home.  They have x-rayed and it's all in the lower colon which is where it needs to be right now. So, the poor girl got another enema.  I'll go visit her later this afternoon, but I don't think she'll be home until tomorrow or Saturday at the earliest.   The good news is if she can do this naturally, she won't need surgery. The other good news is that she was very healthy going into this,   so far so good....

Please, after yesterday, do not begin a post with Callie passed.

As was the director's intent:

William Friedkin speaks (http://www.sfbg.com/blogs/pixel_vision/2007/09/whos_cruising_who_william_frie.html)

Quote
I do all these extras, but I’m not sure it’s a good thing.

For example, the murders in Cruising are not solved. There’s more than one killer. I say that right upfront now. I never said that when the film first came out, and so people were confused and angry because the murder that happened at 9 o’clock wasn’t solved at 12 o’clock.

Today, I just reveal the truth: there’s more than one killer. Most of the murders are unsolved, just as the murders that I based this film on were unsolved.

I, for one, am looking forward to the DVD. I had read the book before I saw the movie. I had personally "experienced" most of the venues described in the book (the Meat Rack, The Anvil, the piers, the Ramble, etc. and was curious to see how the film pulled it off. Good or bad, the film is in fact an accurate portrayal of the seemy underside of the queer Manhattan of the times.

Hi DR TomovOZ!  Yes, it is.  Still have the kitchen and my room to go if I decide to do them.  It really made my arthitis kick up in my hand.  I'm giving it a rest before I do anything else.

One other thing I wanted to ask--I think it's DR Jason who has the machine like mine--Did you have any problems with your Sinuses  (spelling?).  I've been having headaches and earaches since I started using the machine.  I thought it might be the water vapor so I went dry and I'm still having problems.  Don't know if it's this weather or the machine.  I have an appointment with the sleep doctor on Monday and plan on asking him about it.

Thinking about today's topic reminded me of Horschack on WELCOME BACK, KOTTER saying, "Up your nose with a rubber hose" which made me think about John Travota who at one time was going out with Betty Buckley who appeared in DROOD as well as EIGHT IS ENOUGH which was a show I never really liked but I watched anyway because this girl I kind of liked watched it though it didn't really get me far with her because she had this huge crush on my second cousin who was the lead tenor in our high school concert choir and was a bit of a jerk and because the teacher liked his voice he got to pick some of the songs we had to perform and I remember when he found out that I really disliked "Beautiful City" from GODSPELL he damn well made sure that it became part of our set but then I fixed his wagon one time when I

What did you ask me again?

Actually, John Taravolta did not date Betty Buckley, he dated the first mother on the show, Diana Hyland, who died of cancer.

spoo, I guess I missed Jane.  I was reading all of the posts, taking my pain meds, cleaning up Anel's throw-up, and trying to eat dinner; all at the same time.

The physical therapist (I always include the word physical when saying therapist) was livid today, because the surgeon's office would not return his calls.  He wanted to send me to another orthepedic surgeon, but I can't go without a new referral from my primary.  So, the therapist went into his office and called my doctor's office, explained the problem, again using the phrase "the surgeon blew him off," and tomorrow I should have the new referral.

Unfortunately, I will not be seeing Dr. Hunk again, so I have decided not to sleep with him either.

Did your physical therapists suggest any names to your primary?  Maybe you won't need to write that letter now your primary "gets it".

I hope your PT guys had nice things to say about your primary so you can go back to liking him.

Guess I forgot to mention that I visited Cal this afternoon. She was none too happy with the staff there and came in hissing and growling until she saw me.  They left us alone and in no time she was purring and snuggling up against me.   The vet came in to show me the xrays and he thought she was going to get upset, but she just stayed right with me and was fine.  He looked very pleased to see that.   The poor thing has a shaved rear end and it looks quite sore. I didn't get a good look because she obviously didn't want me to touch it, but she did make sure I saw it.

So if she can just poop the rest out, she'll be home tomorrow.  I know it may take awhile, but the vet believes that this will work and if it does she won't need any kind of surgery. So, I'm hoping she gets mad enough to poop all over and then she can come home.

Actually, my PT never spoke to my primary, but to the woman who issues referrals.  She said it was unusual to do two referrals for the same medical problem, but she understood.

So, Dr. Primary still gets a letter, but it won't be angry, just disappointed.  Hell, Dr. Primary has been my doctor for twenty-one years.  I would take a bullet for that man, but I am still disappointed in him.

Yes, the P.T. suggested Fred Thompson.  I said, "The guy on Law and Order?"

He said, "Not that Fred Thompson."

"Oh sure." I said, "You expect me to go see that Republican guy that is running for President?"

The physical therapist then escorted me out of his office.

As for today's adventures in Poppins-land, well... There are still a few things that I'm not comfortable with, but I'm making progress, and getting less nervous.  Of course, both(!) conductors happened to stop into rehearsal today, however, that was actually a great help.  Between numbers, we would chit-chat, and that helped me to feel more at ease in front of them.  -Now if we could just the whole dance break in "Jolly Holiday"... ;)

Wow.  I just read her bio on Wikipedia and if it is accurate...obnoxious is an understatement!

Rather sad to think after her judicial misbehavior, inaccurate statements, causing suicide, etc., she is still on the air and people still watch her. Although perhaps they watch her as they watch the Jerry Springer and Maury Povich shows (two among many that I would never ever watch), more in fascinated disbelief than in appreciation.

The Norman Jewison interview on TCM was done with a live audience, but I think I prefer the ones done in the studio.

Interesting comments on some of his films. Did he want Redford for THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR? He mentioned that McQueen wasn't his first choice for the part (though he knew the film would get financed with him attached)/ I just wonder whom he really wanted.

Y'all are the best - thanks for the continued wishes from DRs Cillaliz, TCB, Singdaw, and Jane and the heartfelt greeting and email from DR Danise.

Richard and I have had a quiet afternoon and evening.  He and his older brother went to the funeral home and church today to verify all the arrangements that Harriet had specified.  We've kept a pretty low profile the rest of the day - we watched one of the Mission Impossible movies and then Prime.  Neither one of us slept very well last night, so the relaxation has been good.  Even the phone has been quiet, but I suspect it will pick up after the notice appears in the paper (either tomorrow or Saturday morning).

When the interview went off, I noticed that one of the HBO channels was showing EVIL UNDER THE SUN starting at 9 in letterbox. Even though I have the anamorphic DVD, I decided toi watch the first hour of my favorite movie version of a Christie book. Don't know why this of all movies would be shown letterbox instead of open matte, but I wish this is something they'd start doing a lot more.

DR KERRY if it's 1959 where you are, ask for an Imperial.....and don't forget, turning the key won't start the engine.

You turn on the ignition, and then press the transmission button marked "N" for neutral to engage the starter.

DR Cillaliz - I can't recall if you've actually said this or not, but... Does Callie's physical deformity directly contribute to her impacted colon?  Or are they non-related conditions?  In any case...

~~~~~GOOD POOP VIBES TO DC CALLIE~~~~~
Yes. Her deformity is that the opening in her pelvic bone where she poops is extremely small, so if her stools aren't soft she can't get them out.   When the vet first discovered it 2 1/2 years ago he said it looks like she had been hit by a car or had some sort of accident.  I got her from the shelter when she was 6 months old (She's 5 years old now) and she hasn't had any injuries since then, so there is a possibility it's congenital or that something happened before I got her.   Her colon itself is fine, you can see on her x-rays that when things go where they are supposed to go (pass) the colon is going right back to it's normal size.   So, she's going through hell right now, but once she poops it out her prognosis is great.  I think he may adjust her medicine, but that's about it.
DR JMK's quote:
"If you're treated like a patient, you're apt to act like one..." was of course one of Ms Frances Farmer's responses to Ralph Edwards' questions on "This Is Your Life."
She went on to say:  "I stood in line with 15 or 20 other girls who were in the hospital for one reason or another.  We were given hydro therapy baths and electric shock treatments which were designed to keep us quiet...which it did.  But I don't really think it helped me much."
And for her trouble she was given a new car:
I have seen endless promos of Journeyman, which looks like one of the most cliche-ridden seen it a million times ideas ever.  I predict a swift demise.
"We wired 150 top Hollywood producers to tune in tonight, Frances, and keep you in mind for any important role that might come up.
"You'll be a busy gal, Frances, dashing from interview to interview....so the Ford Motor Company wants to give you your own 1958 Edsel Pacer.
"With its ease of handling and above all its dependability, this Edsel will get you where you want to go.  It's yours to drive home tonight....."
It looks like a recent book I read. I can't think of the name of it.  It seems to me there is only so much you can do with that and then you'd run out of stories or he'd be divorced and locked up in an insane asylum.
Thanks, I will. I'm just a wimp when I have a cold.  I did, however, make some killer chicken vegetable noodle soup and I'm thinking a bowl before bed may help me sleep.
Could be, but you never know what might catch the public's fancy.
Because I've watched practically NO network TV this summer, I haven't seen any promos at all. I'll be coming into all of these shows relatively fresh.
Too much ME on page 11....
A couple of television gags that still make me laugh after almost 50 years:
Steve Allen:  And now an on the spot chopper report.
Quick cut to a table top filled with those chattering false teeth.
Any of the Steve Allen Man on the Street interviews with Don Knotts or Louis Nye (Heigh ho, Steverino.).
After Dick Cavett mentioned to Lucille Ball that he had seen "Roman Scandals" about a dozen times....Ball said "Maybe you were queer for Eddie Cantor."
Cavett said - "What?"
And Ball replied:  "I said it was a good year for Eddie Cantor."
There is one other show, produced by Greg Berlanti and starring Peter Krause (whom I loved on SIX FEET UNDER and SPORTS NIGHT). It's DIRTY SEXY MONEY, and I may give it a tryout as well.
