Good morning.  It is indeed cold here in the 'burgh.

Hugs and vibes for the dear DR Vixmom, whose tales of woe reminded me of a lot of the sh** we went through with Dad for many years.

Really looking forward to that '24' TV-movie tonight. It's two hours setting up the return of the show in January. It hasn't been on since the spring of 2007, so I'm eager for its return. I've watched every season and loved it even when the seasons were erratic in quality.

As I mentioned last night, today I'll be working on the Blu-ray of FRED CLAUS. I had planned on spending today with CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN on Blu-ray, but FRED CLAUS comes out on Tuesday, and PRINCE CASPIAN doesn't come out until December 2nd.

The box says FRED CLAUS is 115 minutes. That seems kind of long for a holiday comedy. I hope it doesn't wear out its welcome.

I'm on the plane and in my seat. I forgot how tight coach is - not good for a claustrophobe. But I shall have to make do. I'll do some work on the computer, and I'll try to snooze, although there are two loud children in front of me.

Okay, he's gone now.  Can we start the party?

Yes! The turkey is in flight and scheduled to arrive one minute early at 3:34.

No hassle vibes for the poor kids seated in front of the Studio City Grinch.

Here is Vixdad's take on how last Friday's doctor's appointment went....

I'm exhausted reading what you went through, though your DH tells a story well.  I hope the rest of your experience is like the following visit.

GREAT NEWS THIS IS COMPLETELY CURABLE!!!  :D :D :D
I am slightly confused about Thursdays visit.  Was this with the same doctor or another one?

So far, all DR's seem to be in a crash free zone - BKs flight path is south of Cillaliz, and north of JRand, Ginny, and td.

Thursday's visit was with the Oncologist. The happier visit was with the Radiologist - I think

With a southerly wind, BK could parachute in for a visit to the 'burgh. . .

But in the meantime, I'm going to finish watching "Shaun of the Dead" on Comedy Central, and then I shall return to excavating my room - and, hopefully, finding my keys in the process.

Yep.  They're probably some place very obvious.  They only "disappeared" for about three hours, so, I know they have to be somewhere here in the apartment.  Again, I do have the spare set of keys, however, I do miss all the "key tags" for Duane Reade, Walgreen's, FoodTown, PathMark, Border's, etc.  ;)  -Oh, and the keys for my parents' house too.
