Did a shorter jog and it hasn't progressed very far and is still showing times from nine to sixteen hours - this could take until morning.

Friday morning greetings!  Ten of us gathered here last night for my book group's annual potluck dinner and movie night.  The Honey Baked ham and turkey were a hit and the sides that everyone else brought were delicious.  Surprisingly, no one brought a dessert, but Marianne brought some fabulous chocolates from her native Germany.  After dinner we took over the family room to watch ROOM on the big TV.  We all agreed that the book was better than the movie, but the movie was fine.  Seeing it convinced some who hadn't read the book to do so.  Lynne took my copy home with her.

I agree with your book group.

You'd fit right in, DR Jane!

I am sure I would enjoy it.

Of course I should  be sleeping.   I made it to 4:00am, not too bad.  I am going to attempt a bit more sleep before the alarm goes off.

It's not even a quarter of the way yet and still says almost nine hours, but it will take what it will take - still I have to be up early anyway for she of the Evil Eye so if there are problems I'll call Apple then.

The Computer Goes to Burbank.  Wasn't that an early Kurt Russell film?

I don't know what the official high temperature was at the airport, but it was 96 degrees in Port Orchard at about 4:00 p.m.

Port Orchard is a town on the other side of Puget Sound from Seattle.  It is right next to the Bremerton Naval Base.

And that was just one area of the buffet.

It was all very good, but I felt like I was the youngest person eating at the buffet, other than Ken.

Then Ken wanted to run some errands, including stopping at a crazy little candy store called The Chocolate Shoppe.

Finished watching a motion picture.  It's almost a quarter of the way now - I'm hoping it's just loading all the huge stuff first and at some point it will speed up.  According to the screen, there's still over eight hours to go - so it does look like the morning.  In a way that's okay because if I'm confused by anything I'll be able to call Apple immediately or the Burbank guy will also be available.

I broke down and bought some peanut butter and chocolate fudge that they make right there in house.
