I saw HANGOVER SQUARE on the WISH-TV early show....one of the few times I watched Channel 8 instead of Frances Farmer on Channel 6.

That movie and THE LODGER were both presented there....a couple of favorites to be sure.

You know that's what pushed her over the edge--that time.   ;)

But if he had showed up to receive the honor in full Edna regalia, would they have let him in?

Exactly what is the nature of this "three-pronged dealybob", I wonder?

Could it be "component video cables"?

Today at the Meijer store while I was buying my hot dogs, there was a man in front of me who was about 80 years old....and he was buying a 26" HDTV which they were helping him with.

I HOPE HE HAS SOMEONE TO HELP HIM HOOK IT UP.....I almost volunteered to follow him home....but instead I am just sending him vibes.

Perhaps he has a valet to care of these kinds of things for him?

My grade school friend John Alexander passed away on Monday.  He was about a month older - no details in the paper, except for a sister that I didn't know he had.

His mother and father owned the movie theatre in town The Ritz and the liquor store that was next door.

I thought there could be no better parents in the world!!

No word on the possible lockout on Broadway.  One would think there would be some news, as Wednesday matinees are to begin shortly.

Is that where they have "valet dancers"?

Which brings me to this question, as I have no recollection of your ever having mentioned it:

Did you ever get your high def TV hooked up to receive "HD" broadcasts?

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  I made it into work today to vote in the labor relations election and to do the monthly brownbag lunch event for nonprofits.  Because DH Richard made me promise to do so, I'm about to leave for the day.  See y'all later from home.

I suppose I should dress myself and go do the morning errand - also have stuff to ship.

I hope one of those  shipments has my name on it
