I don't know if I'll feel like watching much of anything this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, I'll be working with Roger Corman at the Hollywood Collector's Show in Burbank and, after those long days, I may just want to collapse "like so much fish".

"Like so much fish"

Now, where have I heard that phrase before?

Wow one problem with only having 15 posts per page is that there are 48 pages to catch up on from yesterday!

If I do watch something, it will probably be one of those new Alice Faye movies that have just been released onto DVD.

Until DR Jose mentioned it (the diabetes part and the 4-5 little meals each day), i was trying to figure out how DR Elmore lost 25 lbs in 3 months!
That is a lot!

I'm up, I'm up, have read the posts, am happy to see the calendar button (only the one on top works), and am trying to de-groggify so I can joggify.  Haven't checked me e-mail to see who added the calendar and have no idea if they're working on other things.

This is the problem, dear Druxy, when you just post and don't bother reading the posts from yesterday - your photo problem was addressed then with the fix-it, but can someone repost it here now?

In addition to the calendar being back, if you go to the smf page, besides seeing who is online there is a list of upcoming birthdays!

After spending the morning learning about synchronous and asynchronous e-learning, specifically as applied to professional development in the nonprofit sector, I am ready for lunch.

I'd like to play with the font sizes  and colors.

10
12
14

16
18
20

I used to use the old number 4 font. I wonder which one is equivalent to size 4 font in these new numbers.

It's time for a walk to the NYPL and some play in the Bert Lahr collection.

DRs, I could use a few vibes on a rapid closing of that property sale in Ohio. i need the money.

Had a message from my pro guy and it was good news - I asked him to go in and see if he could fix four things, and he can - probably won't happen until late this evening, but these things will get done:

On the Daily Discussions board (the one you're on), as before, only I will be able to change the topic.  All other boards, anyone can, also as before.

Guests will not be able to view profiles.

As before, users on the daily discussions board will once again show at the top of the page

The Calendar button and birthdays will work, but that seems to have already been done.

I also sent his fix-it list to Mr. Bakalor, and if he feels comfortable making the changes, then they could happen sooner, but by late this evening those four things will be done.

If there's anything else let me know, and I probably won't inundate this guy with them immediately, but between Bakalor and JMK we might be able to fix them.  Don't post them here - send them to me in an e-mail.  Thanks!

Yes, that is a problem.

Actually, I don't think I was on the board yesterday.  Too much running around, doing various errands.

Good morning, all! I got caught up in reading the new Stephen Schwartz book and got to bed after 1. I'm a bit draggy this morning.

DRvixmom, the Pepperidge Farm orange cranberry bread is divoon! I see there are several other new breads in this series as well, but it's great for breakfast with a bit of low-fat butter substitute.  I think li'l Mikey would like it as well.

Today, back to NYPL and some editorial work here, mostly on THE MOST HAPPY FELLA.

TOD:
   DVD:  In Bruges, several operas
CD:  Sarasate Carmen Fantasie, Offenbach's Christopher Columbus, Guy Haines, Delibes Sylvia
VCR:  short documentaries about military social customs

Elmore-

And How Is The Book...so far?

DR Druxy, please give my regards to Mr. Corman...one of my all time favorite film makers...and do ask him if he has any recollections of June Kenney (who he cast in several of his early films like TEENAGE DOLL, SORORITY GIRL, and VIKING WOMEN AND THE SEA SERPENT).

I just noticed there is now an upcoming calendar under the HHW Community Forums - Info Center.:)

;D Guess that bit of info doesn't really matter now that we have the calendar up top.

Bruce, where do we find the complete list of members?

Question to all who have set up profiles.

What have you put to the following two choices:

Use quick reply on topic display: _____________
Show quick-moderation on message index as: ______________

Use quick reply on topic display: ___show on by default__________
Show quick-moderation on message index as: _____icons_________

Use quick reply on topic display: _Show by default
Show quick-moderation on message index as: don't show

Any suggestions I should change these?
