Of course, I am.  Why?

As the chorus in PORGY AND BESS sings:

That girl's forty if she's a day!

Our minister gave his notice this week, and his office is already packed up to move. He won't be going for two or three months.

Oh, most of my office was packed up in March. I just didn't do the final moving until this weekend

Had a nice phone chat with dear reader Jose and I have a better handle on the musician situation for NYMF - much better than I thought it would be.

I've watched Land Of The Pharohs and Mame.  If you go to the imdb for both films, you will find all the usual - MASTERPIECE, GREAT FILM, THE PEOPLE WHO HATE THIS MOVIE ARE IDIOTS - just amazing.  Let me tell you, neither film is within a country mile of good.

May try for Colossus of Rhodes, but must first write a blurb.

DR Laura, is the minister leaving (odd to be packed so quickly) a good thing, bad, or indifferent?

Hope that DR EDISAURUS has found some relief from her allergies.

Sleep seems to have helped a lot, plus the behind-the-counter pseudophed...I think probably the same stuff that helped bk.

Now I can also make meth with the leftovers!

We'll see.  I know at least one person in the office will be on vacation, don't know about the rest.

OK...my girlfriend Kris posted MURDER...MOST FABULOUS!!! on YouTube. Anyone who would like to watch it and comment would be greatly appreciated.

Our friend Jay is the guy in the trenchcoat at the beginning...and it features Cheer Atlanta, who won the 2006 National Cheersport Competition. Lots of cute, hunky guys!!

Well, we'll see, I guess.

Not really. As a board member, I knew a few days ago. He announced to the congregation today.

Yes, actually. Our sister city, Lake Charles, LA, sends a delegation every year for our Mardi Gras that is the lead in to Saturday in the Park.

"I think it was the 4th of July..."

Thanks for the explanation, Cilla!

Thanks for the explanation, Cilla!

Yup, that's what the festival is named after. It's the Saturday before the 4th of July every year, which this year happens to be in June.  The music is free, starts and noon and goes until midnight. This year's headliner is B B King

I didn't like the film, MOULIN ROUGE, apart from the editing. And I didn't like the Broadway show. I went with Kris (director of MURDER...MOST FABULOUS!! that I hope you  all are watching right now.) She really wanted to see the show since she loved the director's work, I was willing to give it a try, and we both slept through it.

(We had just recorded the soundtrack for our film and flew in on the red eye to NY to start mixing the next day so we were very sleep deprived. But I think I would have slept through it anyway!)

Isn't Bill Nighy wonderful in that?
