Isn't Christine the woman that elmore is in love with?

Yep. She's a work of art.

TCB -  If you think of it, please ask them if they'd have time to join us for the Issaquah mini-get-together on Friday May 16th.

I was just reading a story on AOL (actually a kind of boring story) about how companies got their names.  One of the companies they talked about was HASBRO, which according to the article was named Hassenfeld Brothers until they adopted the name Hasbro in 1968.

Now I could swear (and often do) that there were Hasbro toys when I was kid.  However if this story is correct, there was no Hasbro until I turned 18.

Granted, this is not one of the great mysteries of the 20th or 21st century, but I do find it strange.

Please pass on our best wishes to the kids TCB.

I will do so.

Tuesday, besides being tax day and Titanic sinking day, was also the 61st anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball.

I had planned on using that anniversary as a subtle away to ask two Australian friends of mine, what they thought of a little show called NATIONAL PASTIME.  But, surprise, surprise, I happened to find that the parcel in question never made it into the mail!

Spoo! :o

RE: BIG BROTHER

I don't know who i want to win. Not sheila. Not sharon. Not ryan. And not really adam. I really need to think about it. I am really annoyed with ryan/adam. They should have just told nat the truth. At least when they confronted her she was honest about her loyalties. It's pretty that ryan was annoyed with nat for double dealing. When he has deals with everybody left!

Re: tonight's survivor. I am so sad. They kicked out my favorite player. :(  And i totally did not see it coming.  For those who don't watch it's fans vs favorites. And the favorites had a terrific alliance of ozzy, amanda, james, parvatti and cirie. Well cirie and parv decided to vote out ozzy. The only thing is he had the immunity idol which if he had played it he could have been saved. I personally thought that there was a 50% chance cirie/parv would actually turn on ozzy. And i was sure he would use his idol to be safe. But they flipped and he didn't use his idol. And i am so sad. He is my favorite survivor this season. And one of my favorites from all seasons. I can't believe cirie flipped. Now who is her alliance? Stupid!

Nice episodes of EARL and THE OFFICE this evening.  Can't vouch for 30 ROCK since this is only the second time I have seen it.....not quite my kind of show - but it certainly had it's moments.

Greetings from beautiful Zanesville, Ohio!  My rendezvous with our speaker from Illinois went smoothly at the Columbus airport and we arrived at the hotel before 6pm.  We joined our wonderful LAG and another speaker for dinner at an Italian place in town and now everybody's crashing.  Formalities begin tomorrow at 11:30am.

Thanks for the vibes, DRs Jane and TCB!

DR Ginny, I am speaking tomorrow for a group of retired professionals.  I changed my topic yesterday and will prepare my remarks tonight....guess I wouldn't be on you "good" list....

LOL, DR Cillaliz!  Just don't tell the people in charge and everything will be fine.  And you'll always be on my "good" list...

For tomorrow, I'm now speaking about immigration. My handout will be the test you have to take to become a citizen.

I went to a similar program in February and found it so interesting.  Break a leg tomorrow!

Good Evening!

I'm back from A Chorus Line... I left after the fourth Montage ("Gimme the ball").

As for Mr. Lopez, well...

This is his - well, Zach's - new costume:

None.  It's $30 at the theatre, so I'll just wait to buy it at Border's with one of my coupons.  ;)

Ginny, what did you find most interesting in the program you went to?

Linda had a handout outlining immigration myths and realities - I could send you a copy when I get home.  Too late for tomorrow, but maybe for another time.  She also quizzed us with some of the naturalization questions and we did horribly!
