Well, you've read the notes, the notes loved Brahms, and now it is time to post until the Brahmsian cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ESPOUSE!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I do love the Brahms Clarinet Quintet.
-
Around 2:30, I got up to take a tizanidine. When I went back to bed, I had Annabelle buried under the blankets at my knees, Thatch beside my pillow, and Stella at the foot of the bed. We slept quite comfortably for two hours, at which time the cats ran off to frolic, and I had a bitch of a time getting back to sleep.
-
DR TCB, I'm sorry to hear of your new upper back issues. I'n surprised you are not popping muscle relaxers like candy.
-
DR JohnG, I'm happy to hear you are home safe.
-
I hope that this morning I can finish up the Babes In Toyland reports and send them back to the Packard Humanities Institute.
-
The lyrics for the Robinson song have been returned, so I can actually begin writing.
-
I must step out for a bit this afternoon. I'm meeting a friend for coffee.
-
The cats will not be happy since it means their dinner will be later than they would like.
-
Good morning to everybody I hope everybody has a great day
-
Good morning, all.
-
I, too, had to get through an unproductive rehearsal last night. Director is still out sick, one of the cast called in sick, and we ran music but it was an uphill climb with people having mysteriously forgotten not only lyrics but melodies. One of those nights. Everyone has them. I’m just as glad we have the rest of the week off. Back to it on Monday.
-
Today, thankfully, can be mostly a ME day.
-
Kitty cleanup accomplished, I will make the bed, and do a little tidy up.
-
Good morning, all.
-
It’s going to be a rainy day here. And I need to go get JB.
-
Then it’s off to work.
-
And the word of the day is: ESPOUSE!
My brother met his wife on an online dating site, so I suppose they are each other’s E-spouse
-
I am sorry to hear about your back, TCB, do you have a chiropractor? I find that has worked for me n those situations
-
Well off to work
-
Thursday morning greetings! Today I have to deliver the caramel corn to the Holiday Bazaar site and then have a routine visit with my primary care physician. Won't he be surprised to hear what I'm doing next Thursday?
-
DR TCB, we watch NCIS:New Orleans and were very surprised by Tuesday's turn of events. The character played by Rebecca Luker certainly has had her share of tragedy.
-
T.O.D.
Abbott & Costello.

Here's the trailer for the audio edition of my one-woman play, YVONNE DE CARLO, available for download on audible.com. Amazon and iTunes.

My HMO is now being difficult about approving more physical therapy. Damn.
-
Good morning!

TOD:
I remember watching a lot of Rowan and Martin and Smothers Brothers as a kid, mostly because my dad liked those shows.

I'm up, I'm up - maybe four hours of sleep.
-
Because I got up a bit later than planned, I had to hurry and go to my noon o'clock meeting at Stanley's.
-
I thought noon would be totally safe there - alas, it was jammed. Thankfully we got a table without waiting, but I was shocked.
-
Had a Chinese chicken salad (very good), and gave some book advice. Then came right home to relax.
-
I think I'll open a theatre with twenty seats and start putting on plays.....it should be fun.
Maybe I'll start with Les Miz - that should bring in the audiences!

I am home from my coffee date. We met at the Westway Diner on 43rd and Ninth Avenue and had a lovely visit. The kitties are fed so they are now happy. They had salmon and shrimp/ I will have a ham and cheese sandwich and some 3-bean salad.

My HMO is now being difficult about approving more physical therapy. Damn.

Hasn't LESS MIZ been done?

Hello, everyone.
-
My HMO is now being difficult about approving more physical therapy. Damn.
Do you know why? I learned that my stupid HMO had denied my surgery last year without even checking with me or my doctor, they just assumed certain things hadn't been done, then denied the procedure because of that. Once I saw what they were doing I told my doctor, who then resubmitted with additional information. This time it was aproved.
-
Page 3 Dance!
"Aw, I NEED to stretch!"
It could be me saying that.
-
The above post references the dancing cat, not the fact that it's page three.

TOD:
Fry and Laurie

I've always loved Bach, but I didn't love Brahms at first. I thought of his music as stodgy. (I know, I know.) I'm not sure what made me change my mind, maybe listening more carefully, but I learned to love Brahms as well.
-
I have no news.
But I'll make a tiny comment about being very happy about something in today's news. It's politics, so I'll leave it there.
TTFN.

Do you think this pays off with many people not even bothering to question it and just paying it assuming it's their resposbility?

My doctor had to spend time on the phone getting a test approved for me. PT can often be extended if something new is added to the mix.

Well, I'm off. I'm ushering again for Songs for a New World.
Be back later.

Remember when I took my Mom to the ER and we left without her being seen after sitting in the waiting room for hours?

She received a bill for $300

I really don't know how the Utilization Management department, as it's called at my HMO, thinks. Since I have a Medicare Advantage plan medical expenses are charged back to Medicare. In theory, I don't think they cost the plan/HMO anything. Non-Medicare plans work differently, I believe, and the plan/HMO has to cover the expense.
As to whether any of these organizations benefit from patients/plan members who don't question things, I'm sure they do. I've seen so much apathy and incompetence. I feel you need to challenge their decisions if they don't seem right or are simply illogical.
-
I shall now be on my way to the mail place and then the theater for tonight's rehearsal.
-
She received a bill for $300
I'm not surprised. Does she have original Medicare or Medicare Advantage? My former Medicare Advantage people went to bat for me when I was charged $2500 for an ambulance ride that was supposed to be $200. If she has original Medicare she (or you) are on your own to fight it. It's outrageous, of course, but that's the way they do business.

TTFN 2.

She received a bill for $300
Did the hospital cancel the bill?
-
Is anyone else having trouble connecting?

It is time to vote at Goodreads for our favorite books. I am having a difficult time deciding between two equally excellent books in the mystery section.
-
I made a decision.
-
She received a bill for $300
Did the hospital cancel the bill?
Nope and in fact she didn’t find out about it until her insurance had already paid them $230
-

John, your saying under your avatar "Dance, if it makes you happy." could be repurposed for HHW as "Post, since it makes BK happy."

She should call her insurance company and let them know. I know someone who's insurance company got the hospital to drop the charges. Her bill was far greater than this.

I need to read.

'night.

Well, I'm off. I'm ushering again for Songs for a New World.

It was good again.

Not a large audience (only 22 or so :-\ ), but they were very appreciative.

Tomorrow morning, I'm getting my chimney cleaned.

Literally!

That's NOT a euphemism!

Good evening.

Hi, Tom.
-
Tomorrow morning, I'm getting my chimney cleaned.
I’m not saying a word.
-
Hello, George.
-
I forgot to charge my iPad, so I don’t know how long I will be online.
-
I would go into the office and get on my PC, but I am still in too much pain.
-
So, you can imagine how much I accomplished today.
-
Nada.
-
DR TCB, I'm sorry to hear of your new upper back issues. I'n surprised you are not popping muscle relaxers like candy.
I am only allowed three pills a day.
-

-
The condo property manager negotiated a deal so that the chimney sweeping is about a third of the regular price!
-
I am sorry to hear about your back, TCB, do you have a chiropractor? I find that has worked for me n those situations
No, thank you on the chiropractor, vixmom. My spine is already fragile after all my back surgeries. One wrong move and I would be a carrot!
-
One more post.
-
I think it would normally be $170, but the deal makes it only $65!
