And now, I'm off...off to the theater.

Be back later.

Thunderstorms this afternoon caused the temps to drop 20 degrees.

It is 83 degrees here  :o

I was glad it was warm when I was accidentally sprayed in the face and over my shirt with a hose.

I got a call from Vixdad today at work, his dad passed away in his sleep last night.  He was 90

Oh, I'm so sorry, DR vixmom.  How soon will you be heading to Canada?

He can't go, his passport is expired, he had just put in the paperwork last weekend

But it can be rushed due to the emergency.

Not really an option, he has to get from England

Condolences to Vixmom and dad.  Remember when you didn't need passports to Canada?

We'll since he's not a US citizen he definitely needs one....

Okay I will: Doug had an idea to do a female-centric version of A Christmas Carol, with a female Scrooge, Cratchit, Tiny Tim, etc, along with female past, present, and future ghosts (not ghosts in our version) and set in current times.  I liked the idea and the Group Rep committed to it.  I'm having a lot of fun with the score, I must say.  He original had some convoluted silly title for it, but I insisted that the Scrooge gal be named Carol and that the title be A Carol Christmas - which it is, and which I think is pretty fun and clever.

Very cool!!

You don't have to get a passport.  You can get a special license's or id cards that will let you go back and forth between the US and Canada by car.

only works for us citizens though

Starting to watch Alphaville, which I somehow don't remember having seen. Godard back then could be fun, and the opening of this sure is.

I roasted a bunch of peppers I had in the fridge. The house smells wonderful.

I am very weirded out by ChasSmith's review disappearing.  I know where my mind is going but I'm hoping it's something simpler than stalkers doing something evil.

Oh, I didn't realize he isn't a US citizen.  It must be very disappointing he can't leave right now.
