And the word of the day is: PILGARLIC!
Is that anything like a garlic pill??
;)
And the word of the day is: PILGARLIC!"Give that GIRL A CLIP!" laughed Fannie and Jan, as their friend Nancy took her turn and sat in the barber's chair. It was the least they felt they could do to support Anita, after her chemotherapy had left her with a PILGARLIC noggin. If one must loose her hair, they all would!
Yup...absolutely nothing like a garlic pill. :)But very much like a clove of peeled garlic...
And not only is Jeanne visiting this week, but we also get Kerry, MusicGuy, and dear reader Laura and Sandra. They'd better all arrive at the same time, so you can share the same meal, or your diet is gonna be busted!
Hiya Woody! It is now 7:11 a.m., and I've got to get to work! Yipes, spent too much time researching anime, which a co-worker will be attending a convention of/for in a week.
It's 3:52 a.m. here in Los Angeles. What time is it where you are?
Can you help me with something? I'm trying to add an image to my message but it isn't working. I have a PC and the jpeg image is saved in C: Windows.
...as long as the power and Con Ed don't fail me....
Hmm.. House of Pies.
BK - Where was the cup of extra whipped cream?
;)
I'm on a DIET! ;D
LACC is indeed just down the street from Cafe Figaro and House of Pies - on Vermont just south of Santa Monica Blvd. The great thing is that there's a subway stop a half-block from the campus, as well as a subway stop at Sunset for the House of Pies.
Garlic ice cream, anyone?Since you ask...
Again I'm the only one in the jernt. Perhaps it was the garlic ice cream.
Waynesville, Ohio, a community not far from here, has an annual sauerkraut festival. One of their delicacies is sauerkraut ice cream.SAUERKRAUT ICE CREAM!!!
Tonight's update on my Dad is not good: I may need to fly back to Ohio on Tuesday if the news tomorrow is as bad as the news I got this afternoon. Please send him all the vibes you can!
How pleasing to be no where near Chicago on August 12. Patti in "Gypsy". Some people......If you listen carefully, you'll be able to hear her no matter where you are. And that's without amplification. (Technically, she'll be at the Ravina from the 11th through the 13th.)
RE: IE for Mac - If you're used to using IE on a Mac, now would be the time to switch over to Safari and/or Firefox for Mac since Microsoft is no longer supporting IE for Mac.
Hello peopel! yetserday Vixdad suprised me with an early birthday present: front row, center, mezzanine tickets for Spamalot.

Speaking of garlic, the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival is going on right now in the South Bay area. This festival celebrates garlic in more ways than you can imagine.
Garlic ice cream, anyone?
TPunk we drove through Gilroy on our last trip to Los Angeles. It smelled nice, not too strong. I'm not sure I would want to be there this weekend.
Thanks! It has been very good. My foot even felt well enough to walk for miles and miles. That's a first since about February.
I don't think BK willl mind me saying he looks MUCH thinner than he does in the DECEIT dvd.
Last night, DH Richard and DS Rob assembled our new Skyline bookcase from Levenger (http://www.levenger.com). It's now in place in the corner, filled with CD's. Ours is like the darker one in this photo:
I spent a few hours surfing the web today, to see if there was any way I might swing a visit to New York for the big HHW gathering in October. What I discovered is that five nights in a NYC hotel in October would cost be the same amount of money that I pay for two months rent on my apartment. Very depressing!
Further research shows that the Japanese are far more fluent in ice cream (http://bertc.com/japanese_ice_creams.htm) than even I would have guessed.
Hi all, I am very very tired and I haven't read the posts, but wanted to let you know I'm home. I voluntarily got bumped in Denver (it was too hot to have the plane take off with a full load) and got a free round trip ticket on United. So that's cool, but as a result I got home very late and must get some sleep now
