Father BK is up after a really long night's sleep which I really needed.  I will have to jog in about thirty minutes if I'm to do so.  Yesterday's ninety-degree sunshine is in absentia and it is, once again, slate gray out.

Father's Day greetings!  Richard and I both slept poorly last night, so we really had to drag ourselves to Lima and back.  He had a short nap while I drove and I'm about to have one myself.  Thought I could stay awake until Mary Linda leaves to drive back to Michigan, but maybe not...

And, well...

Remember that wonderful "speech" that that adorable kid gave about riding his bike? Well...

If you "Songify" it, it sounds likes THIS.

*And just in case you don't remember the original video, HERE IT IS.

That was great. There was one with the former star of Two and Half Men.

DR JOSE - thanks for your take on ATTK.   I really wish I could have seen it.  Fingers are crossed that I'll be able to in the future

It is raining again this morning, and right now I am watching NO, MY DARLING DAUGHTER and waiting for Rad Fulton to make his first entrance.

Mr James Westmoreland said he enjoyed working with Sir Michael Redgrave very much - he didn't mention Juliet Mills or Michael Craig.

Indeed Rad did enjoy working with Juliet Mills very much, and in fact I got the two of the together a few years ago when I met Ms. Mills at the Ray Court's Hollywood Show and she told me to tell Rad/James to come by the studio (she was working on a soap opera at the time...maybe she still is). I can't remember if he ever did meet up with her or not.

Well, if you got them together, then they should have met. If you simply carried discussions back and forth, you're taking too much credit. The soap she was on was the ridiculously horrifying PASSIONS, written by a now-dead insanely mad queen who collected Barbie dolls, as I recall. All I remember of the soap, besides the atrocious acting, was that Charity's bedroom closet was the doorway to hell.

And there is a Bruce Kimmel connection in all of this as well.

Today I went to Shopko to look around and before I got in the store ended up in the garden area and started looking at trees and ended up bringing home a dwarf pear tree and a dwarf cherry tree.  It took me forever to figure out where to plant them and to plant them.  I really wasn't planning to plant trees any time soon, but am glad I got them.   Now I have 2 apple trees and cherry tree and a pear tree.

I really am not good at exertion in hot weather.  It's in the 80s.  I had to take several breaks and literally drank a gallon of water.  Whew!  I've now showered and had some lunch so I feel much better

I will get my application together in the next couple of days and then file it. I hope to have it done by Tuesday.

Two days of snorkeling at the end of the trip has left me with an inner ear infection. Got to get a hold of the doctor tomorrow to get some meds for that.

This may not be news to some (I haven't caught up yet), but Clarence Clemons died.

I just had 2 20-minute naps with a nice chat with my niece in between.
