Unless you want to get stuck with an annual Gold Membership that you don't want, be sure that your renewal status is marked "Manual," NOT "Automatic". I caught/disputed the charge 2 days after it was made, and Classmates would not cancel it.

 >:(

Can't you just contact your credit card company and tell them that you do not want it, and did not sign up for it. And that they are trying to charge you ror another year.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone w/Classmates & my credit card company today.

Classmates is giving me a 50% discount and my card company is going to eat the balance.

With the move to Austin last year, I put $30-$40 thousand dollars on that card (and paid it off in full), so I guess they appreciate it.

In any event, if you're with Classmates, make sure you do a "manual" renewal, so that you don't have this problem.

DR Druxy - thanks for this advice.  I'd just subscribed last week and today went into my account to make my renewal "manual."

My Classmates subscription is set to manual renewal and I haven't renewed it.  I keep getting e-mails saying that "someone" has signed my page (whatever that means), but I'm not going to pay to find out who may have visited my listing.  I think they should tell me who it was so that I can decide if I want to pay to find out what they have to say.

I watched last night's CASTLE while I ate lunch. The two leads are SO great together, and the show is tremendously entertaining just due to their chemistry.

i agree & also like his family chemistry.  i love castle's expressions-sooo cute.

I think the young actress who plays his daughter (Molly Quinn) is one of the most talented teen actresses currently working. She's magical.

I can see no potential upside to their having a female agent working alongside Mark Valley's "human target."

I hope everyone who's currently ailing gets better soon. It's awful to be sick at any time of year, but I hate being sick in the winter.

I watched four more episodes of JAG (meaning all of disc two). I had time to watch one more episode, but I did want to see at least one prime time show tonight since I don't want the DVR getting so full it has to erase something to make room for something else.

The last episode I watched was another one that didn't involve a trial, so I always find those less interesting though I understand they liked to switch things up a bit just to add interest and make it seem less formula.

Then I skimmed through today's soaps. Nothing of interest in either one. ATWT has Lily, Holden, and Damian on tomorrow's show in the previews but no sign of the boys.

Then I watched tonight's NCIS. A VERY easy mystery killer on board the airplane, a less obvious one on the ground (but I guessed that one, too).

No UPS packages today of any kind so unless WHIP IT comes tomorrow morning, looks like I'll be JAGging it again tomorrow with another 8 or 9 episodes.

I have no idea why I'm tired from just sitting around all day.  Since tomorrow morning's nurse is coming at 8am to draw blood and give me a shot, I'm going to bed.  Thanks for keeping me company all day.

'night!

I know what you mean. In the grand scheme of things, I guess things like interference with TV and internet is petty, but damn does it ever make me angry, too, when it happens!

Finally finished some work on the Theater website.....including unintentionally wiping out the front page....hopefully webmaster Bryan can get the two stories left side by side and then I can go from there.

ANYWAY....

Watching MANHUNT on TCM and hearing a lot of ship and liner bells and whistles and sounds that Fox would use in TITANIC a few years later.
Going to be down to 19 degrees tonight, so I put on an extra blanket.

DR edisaurus - Did they make an announcement as the intermission ended? or did the new actress just "appear"?

Yes, they announced it after intermission.
