Does anybody know the whereabouts of actress Taylor Leigh?

Back in the early 1990's, she played Carole Lombard in my 1-woman play.

I tried SAG, but the number they have for her is disconnected.

Help!

Thanks.

JR, I forgot to tell you yesterday, and I'm sure you'll want to get your own souvenir copy.  Yesterday's Sunday Oregonian featured a lovely, full color photo of Ms. Libby Appel, accompanying an article extolling her virtues during her tenure at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

The next sound you hear will be my head exploding.

Another 2 boys, 1 girl, single parent show neither one of us probably watched: DIFFERENT STROKES.

Trying to get the Married to It package approved and to the printers - we had to make a couple of little changes - copyright and such.  It should be done now.

An acquired taste maybe.....or a throwback to my "hippie" days......but I still love Buffy St. Marie

I'm a big ole Doris Day fan. . .and as I was just called into work early. . .where to begin? ? ? ?

I love the themes from her latter day Universal pictures, Move Over Darling, Send Me No Flowers, Do Not Disturb, Pillow Talk.

FWIW, "Move Over, Darling" was a Fox film.

I wasn't serious about making a haineshisway Facebook page.  In fact, Facebook can kiss haineshisway's ASS.

Well, I'm glad about that because I had no interest in joining any other on-line community. I already have far more to keep up with than I have time now.

There was NO daughter during the first two seasons of THE DORIS DAY SHOW. She had two boys.

I did indeed forget to include "Put 'Em in a Box" among my favorite Doris Day tunes. I LOVE that song.

I also gives me an ache in my heart that Doris has turned down the honor of an honorary Academy Award. I don't know if she still holds a grudge for not ever winning in competition (only got nominated once) or if she just doesn't want to appear in public any longer, but she really deserves this recognition as one of the real Hollywood greats and an underrated performer her entire career.

Before I headed out to lunch, I had time to watch last night's BROTHERS & SISTERS. Boy, you can't say they don't move these many plots along! Major events last night with Rebecca and Sarah and Holly.

Lunch ran long, so I didn't have time for THE DA VINCI CODE on Blu-ray this afternoon. I'll watch that when I go back down.

Since I didn't get any UPS packages of review material, I had the day off, so I went back to THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN and watched some episodes.

I began with "The Stolen Costume," the one episode from season one that looks simply awful, like they found it on the floor of a vault somewhere and stomped on it a few hours before running it through a telecine machine to make a copy for the DVD set. But it's such a fun episode.

I am back from Kenwood Towne Center where I went to the Vera Bradley store to meet my Facebook friends Cathy and Patty (weren't those the twins in the old Patty Duke Show?).  Anyway, it was the first time we'd met face to face and we had fun helping each other pick out bags for ourselves and others.  On the way home I did my Mom's grocery shopping and my own and am now about to prepare a taco supper for Richard and Rob and watch the Olympics.

Next came "Mystery in Wax," another all-time favorite with batty Myra McKinney fashioning wax figure as portents of death. I remember as a little kid seeing this for the first time, and it scared me to death.

Next I watched "Double Trouble" with a female impersonator fooling Jimmy into dooing him/her a favor. Pretty bold for 1951.

Then I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Yep, the boys were there going through their usual bitch session. No sign of Dr. Pill.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE had a good show, though, as Oliver REALLY doesn't want anything to do with this baby. He's in complete denial, so it's no surprise Kyle is doing what he's doing.

Great news for Kindle owners - the Kritzer books and the Hofstetter books will all be available on Kindle in six weeks, and so will the new book when that comes out.  VERY happy.

I began last Friday's episode of SPARTACUS. Stayed with it long enough to see the male-male kiss this week, but I ran out of time so I'll try to finish it later tonight.

TOD - I don't have anything to list that hasn't already been mentioned, but thought y'all would be interested in this story that we heard on NPR last weekend:

I'm back from the rehearsal, which - as is often the case with benefits - was tentative at times, but i think it will go really well tonight. My number was rehearsed before noon, so I stayed till Joshie's orchestration for Aaron Lazar, who has a wonderful voice, was played down.

I got back to find a weird invoice from my health insurance company that looked like no other invoice I'd ever received from them and it's $300 less than my last quarterly premium, which cannot be correct. I'm completely puzzled. I've called and made the inquiry. I have to call back on Friday for answers.

and on the fallout front, I got a sickeningly sweet letter that had a cordial cover to a veiled threat.

From what I understand, the Academy has been offering her an honorary award for the last several years, and she's turned it down every time.
