These are the cutest Panda Bears.  I wish the video were larger. http://i50.tinypic.com/k30phw.gif

I did find it larger only it was blurry.

Drunk Duane has called, texted, and left a voice mail again.

I had a text and a call from someone in Nebraska. I don't know who it is and will not answer to talk to them

I had a real treat today.  Keith dropped me off in town for a walk in the park before meeting a friend for lunch.  I haven't eaten out since before my accident.  We went to a Japanese restaurant & I forgot about chopsticks.  Watching me struggle the waiter showed up with a fork.  I'm pleased to say I used the chopsticks with my right hand.  I'm sure I couldn't have done it left handed.  I was able to get the food up to my mouth without spilling it.  I'm progressing. :)

I had a glass of wine which was very interesting, in a good way, during PT after lunch.

A glass of wine is always a good thing. So is a lunch with a friend or friends. Both help the healing process.

So true John G.   I have a very low tolerance for alcohol & drank the first half of the glass slowly as not to embarrass myself.  As we got closer to leaving I sped up my drinking, finishing the last of the wine before walking out the door, postponing the giggly stage for our exit. :)

DR CILLA LIZ - if Debbie had 6-week old triplets, we would probably be doing a waltz instead of a disco number!

I did indeed forget to include "Put 'Em in a Box" among my favorite Doris Day tunes. I LOVE that song.

That song ALWAYS makes me smile.  Then again, so does "Tacos, Enchiladas and Beans."

I love Doris singing DR ARNOLDMBROCKMAN's Song of the Day......but now the one I hear in my head first is the version by the inimitable Darlene Edwards...............

I love Darlene Edwards.

I had forgotten how long THE DAVINCI CODE is: almost three hours. So I didn't have as much time to watch other things as I would have liked.

But I did watch it. The Blu-ray looks fine usually, but it's weird how shots go from soft to sharp and back again all the time. Distracting when you have this perfect picture and all of a sudden, it's not so perfect. Great color, though, and excellent Dolby TrueHD sound.

In anticipation of the ladies figure skating coming up, I tok out my 2002 Salt Lake City recording and watched Sarah Hughes masterful gold medal long program. I watched it three times because it was so far superior to ANY of the skating at the 2006 Olympics, in my mind one of the most disappointing final flights of skaters in the last 30 years.

I watched about 15 more minutes of SPARTACUS, but time had gotten away from me, so I wasn't able to finish the episode tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

Then I watched tonight's '24' episode. Good, lots of action, people covering their butts and laying the blame on someone else to hide their own ineptitude. Argh!

DR Druxy, I did some sleuthing but could find nothing on Taylor Leigh. Is that her real name? Does she have a married name?

Thanks for the try.

No idea if she's married on not.  Have not been in touch with her for years.

I was hoping that she might have a photo of herself as Carole Lombard that I could use in my book.

I just finished watching THE DAUGHTER OF ROSIE O'GRADY from Warner Archive.

Okay movie.  The dance numbers with June Haver and Gene Nelson are great, as is a solo number that James Barton sings in a barroom.

But, the color registration is off in many of the scenes.

I didn't get anything review-wise in the mail today, so I'm assuming tomorrow will be another day off. Of course, PONYO could arrive, but I'm not really expecting anything else. We'll see.

In the meantime...

I had a great time at "The Daily Show".  Ricky Gervais was the guest, and let's just say that the interview took quite an unexpected turn and tone. ;)  It was also their first show back after being off for a week, so the opening ten minutes of show were used to catch up things. Very funny.

*This was my first time attending a taping of "The Daily Show", and even though I had a good time during the show itself, the whole waiting-to-get-into-the-studio process seems like it could be streamlined - or least made more entertaining.  The doors open at 5:15.  They encourage people to start lining up between 3:30 and 4:30, although, some people clearly started lining up earlier.  Well... At 4:30 is when they started distributing the paper tickets and checking people's name off the various lists.  -So, if you were toward the back of the line, you weren't ticketed and checked until sometime around 4:45 - the line is supposed to cut off at 4:30.  Then the whole process of getting into the studio starts - metal detectors and bag inspections - they actually do a more thorough than the TSA.  Then once we were seated, we waited.  And waited.  There was no definite start given for when the taping would begin, but I guess it began sometime around 6:30 since we were back out on the street at 7:05.  Again, I had a good time, and I'm just thankful that the weather earlier today was not that cold, and that nothing was falling from the sky.

MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, whose season's finale was tonight, has a two boy and a girl family, although the girl is a toddler. I love this show and am happy it was renewed.

Have any of you had both COMCAST and DIRECTV at various times?  I have a choice of providers at the new house.  It's already evidently pre-wired for COMCAST, but doing DIRECTV wouldn't be hard.  We have DIRECTV currently.  I'd love to hear reviews of COMCAST especially, but if you've had both, which you prefer and why.  Thanks.

Our COMCAST customer service SUCKS. That's the only time I've ever screamed at someone over the phone. (After they came out for the 6th time to hook up the cable and did it wrong or didn't do it at all...after I'd taken off several days to be there.)

I've heard a lot of people complain about Comcast. It's not in our area here, but many internet friends don't seem to be happy.

Is there any cable and/or internet service provider that actually has "Very Good" customer service?

Well... I really would like to hang out for a bit, but I think all that standing in the cold for almost two and a half hours today has caught up with me, so...

Goodnight.
