Vixmom,

Here's one from the Phrases Lutherans Never Thought They See playbook. It's a headline in today's USAToday: Kendall Jenner strips for Advent calendar.

Agh!!!!!

Today I celebrated my 15th year with Fedex Office (Started off as Kinkos) I have outlived about 10 different managers and two who were from hell and resigned before they could be terminated.

I stuck with it even though there many times I wanted to quit and even started to look for other jobs.

With my current health situation the company has been understanding and accommodating. Grateful for that.

Good morning, all! I decided I would go to bed early, get up early, get to therapy early and get back to work,  so . . . i turned off the lights at 9:30, and five minutes later that damned dog above me barked his head off for the next thirty minutes.  I was so pissed that I decided to read a bit to calm down, reached for one and knocked over a pile of books along with a glass of water. So, then i had a mess to clean up.

At 1:00am, i was still awake and still pissed and this morning I am still pissed. That dog is dead.  So, at 6:30 this morning, I canceled therapy, went back to bed, and my plans for the day are screwed up. I will spend it working on the Encores! job and call the landlord and inform him that if that dog prevents me from meeting it, I will get an attorney on it.  I hope I can afford one.

~~~Coping Vibes for DR Elmore!!~~~
Facebook birthday stuff is insane.  I've been trying to keep up with "liking" all the wishes - daunting but I'm current as of ten minutes ago - that was over 250 "likes" - some wishes from interesting folks and it's sometimes even more interesting who doesn't send wishes :)
You have a lot of friends.  I can imagine there are many good wishes.
TOD - My 25th birthday in 1975.  Worked all day, then went to the first rehearsal for YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, with DR Elmore as director.  After the introductions and all the formalities, he said, "Now, I want Ginny Ellis to come up here and sit by me."  It thought I was in real trouble, or being relieved of my Lucy role, when Snooky and Andrea emerged with a blazing cake and the the whole company was singing "Happy Birthday."  They presented me with this Snoopy, autographed by everyone.  I'd lived in Middletown a little over 2 years and it was the first time I felt a sense of belonging with real friends.
Having moved too many times I appreciate how special this would have been.
Back from a nice lunch at a coffee shop/diner called Cafe 101 right by Argyle and Franklin.  It's some kind of hipster coffee shop, which means a lot of idiots acting like they grew up in the 70s, which, of course, they didn't.  Weird to me, but what do I know.  I had a BLT and a tiny bit of salad so that I can eat something fun later.  Rob had a waffle brownie sundae, which was voted one of the ten best desserts in LA by the AAA.  I had a bite and it was pretty great.  They make the brownie in a waffle maker - fun.
I have "liked" close to 350 birthday posts - don't know if I can keep doing that - it's a little nutty and it's still early.  Picked up one little package.
I'll probably sit on my couch and hope I doze off for a bit.  I do want to jog, but it may have to wait until tomorrow as I've already showered and who wants to do all that again?
