Usually if I eat down in the Lacey area, I eat at Hawk's Prairie.

The last time I went there was probably in 1985.

No one else would ever have to know!

I would know.

Hence the word "else."

I love Hawk's Prairie!

Maybe the next time you're down here and want some company, I could join you.

I forgot to call today to see if they have any tickets left for Johnny Mathis at the Pantages in Tacoma.

That would be great.  They have great breakfasts, and luckily for you, they serve it all day.

I like to go down there on weekends.  Although, now that I am retired, I guess I don't have to just go on weekends.

In general, weekends would work better for me because it's not to close to where I work and the amount of time to take for lunch is more than my usual...but I have a flexible schedule, so it's not really a great concern.

Cool!  I knew that it was coming on, but I didn't find out when.

Sadly, very sadly, no.  I have to help my sister unload a couch from a truck this morning, and then I'm helping clean up The Midnight Sun after last month's production of "Tartuffe," and then the family celebrating my sister's boyfriend's birthday.  In amongst all of that, I MUST do some laundry.

Good morning, all!  I woke up to the news of Roger Rees' death, and it saddens me.  He was a fantastic actor and a very lovely man, whom I only saw occasionally.  I remember running into him once in LA at that wonderful donut restaurant when I was out mixing an album with BK, and the last time I saw him was around five or six years ago when I was in the Verizon store to get a new cell phone after I had dropped mine into a pot of boiling water; I made him laugh when I told him that my cell phone was now a vegetable.

I would not go within 20 feet of a restaurant called The Tofu Hut.

Last night we had a very responsive audience....no one left....and the actors followed their notes.

I am hoping we have another GREAT performance tonight!

Today, I have work on the Moross score.  I have to transfer my markings to the copy going to my colleague Dan for cues and fixes.

I do need a run to the market for celery and perhaps more.

He was at the "Herringbone" CD release party in December, of course, since he'd directed the performance that's on the CD.

tod

both actors are not the kind where I have to their newest film. They have done some fine fine films over the year but none can be classified a favorite of theirs
