I saw the story but hadn't watched the video.  The poor dog.  If your dog is off leash and someone asks you to leash it that is what you do.

Last night I watched The Sand Pebbles which I had never seen - I liked it.

It was very interesting and the story was intriguing. 

I had kind of avoided it for over 50 years because it didn't seem like something I would be interested in.

I was wrong.

DR Jane re: the question you asked yesterday about neighbors breaking the law by having people in their homes.

We were told that nobody from outside the household was supposed to be in house.  Was it a law?  Probably not. But it was clearly stated.  They were also having people in their backyards.  Which again was probably not an actual law. But we were told that it was not allowed. Same with meeting up with friends at parks.  Because it would lead to people doing things that would not be good.

I would say that most people were quite good about this.  Although one neighbor kept having people visit on the street, yet they were standing right on top of each other.

I guess everyone had to decide for themselves what they were willing to give up.  It just really bothered me on Mother's Day when the people next door had two cars in their driveway and at least 2-3 people in their house (probably their kids or family). And the people across the street had 2-3 people in their house. 

We see visitors here all the time.  I am guessing they are also going inside and not simply visiting outside though I don't know for sure.

Dr Glickman's office just sent me all the forms I need for my Covid-19 test on Saturday.

I expected 3 days prior to surgery.  It is even better if they can get results back in 2 days.

Gas prices at our local Costco and BJ's held at $1.65 for two solid months. This morning they're up to $1.69.

I believe I mentioned I have been doing a virtual trip with someone on FB.  This morning we swam in the beautiful waters of Tahiti.

I met the friend on FB as we grew up in the same area and have many mutual friends.  He began this trip and the number of people now traveling with him has grown.  We are talking as if we are actually doing the actives he shares.

The photos are beautiful as are the accomondations.

Oh, we have also been traveling by private jet.

Funny is that every once in awhile he has to explain to someone that this is a virtual trip.

Ours jumped before Memorial Day from $1.24 to $1.55.

I spent the noon hour on Google Meet with the book discussion group that usually meets at the library where my career began.  And I'm about to get together on Zoom with my retired librarian friends from ALA to talk about new books.  In between, Richard and I went to our local public library where he received 3 hold items via curb-side pick-up - just like Kroger!

Curbside books, I like that.  Are you using sanitizer wipes on them before reading?  Letting them rest a couple of days first, something?

We have been informed our clubhouse has puzzles people can borrow.  I would not want to touch them.

I think Richard went over them with a disinfectant wipe when we got home and threw the bag away.  I don't blame you about the puzzles.
