Started watching the AMTSJ version of Beauty and the Beast. What a boring show. I’ve never seen the stage version before. I made through the long and dreary act I, but I don’t have much interest in returning.

I just saw that Amy Cooper, the woman in the Central Park story about the unleashed dog and racist phone call, has been terminated from her job. I do not feel sorry for her at all.

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep, almost, closer to seven-and-a-half. Woke up at eleven and have been on the phone or trying to catch up on e-mails ever since. Need to think about food and it's either going to be Barone's or Island's, I think, although I could also do pasta papa from Hugo's and be very happy.

One of my first theatre directors once said to me that on every project I worked on, there would usually be one butt that made things difficult and less fun for everyone involved.

For the most part, that has been true.

He also said that it was important to make sure that you are NOT the butt.

Barone's was excellent - the medium there is ten "slices" BUT - the slices are square less than half the size of a normal slice of pizza, so it's more like a personal five-slice pizza.
