I bought my first plane tickets. I’m headed to Des Moines to see friends in September. Used a paltry few miles for a round trip ticket.

I hope you don't have a middle seat.  Even better I hope it won't matter by then.

Rachel Maddow just announced that former Vice President Walter Mondale just died at age 93.

I remember in 2002 when the Sondheim Celebration was going on, I was able to capture some of the solo concerts that some of the performers had done in between the shows.  I still have them on my computer.

Judy Kuhn and John Barrowman are who I can think of right now, as well as a couple of interview videos...pretty cool stuff.  I looked for those on the Kennedy Center YouTube channel, and on their website, but they're not there anymore.  So it's possible that I'm the only person in the world that still has these! ;D

And who knows?  Perhaps DR elmore3003 will be mentioned in connection with the show's Pulitzer Prize.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

When I watch stuff like Musical of Musicals, to me a one-joke show of 100-minutes duration I become bored pretty quickly. But this thing was just not well done, although everyone raves about it and those two "directors" are so busy patting themselves on the back for using a green screen, and using it very poorly, that I find nauseating. We took the time to figure out how to do this stuff - it looks to me like they learned a bit from it but not enough. Why Jim Morgan would not come to me is anyone's guess. Unless this was just brought to him, which it may well have been.

Had a small cube steak for the evening repast - very good - some sautéed onions with it. So, today is a day without any carbs at all. 8 oz. of halibut is 250 calories and the pounded steak was also around that. Add the butter I used for both dishes and maybe I've had 700 calories for the day, and I ate about 100 calories of Keto friendly nuts.

I had a dream that I was having dinner at Steve Sondheim's house. I was helping in the kitchen. He asked me to put the rolls on the table. And I turned to him and said:

I sort of hate to ask it,
But do you have a basket?

LMAO!

I made scrambled eggs for many years before I heard that some people add milk. I did that for a while, but can't say I really noticed any difference. IMO, scramble eggs don't need milk to be tasty.

I grew up using milk and stopped.  While not as fluffy I like the stronger egg flavor.

I prefer chocolate milk!

I made a very nice shrimp salad for dinner. Light and just what I wanted.

Are you sure that salad is what the shrimp wanted for dinner.
