I got an angry set of texts from a friend that so many Tacoma restaurants, especially along the waterfront, stayed close today because of the hot weather.

Tonight, I wanted to sit in an air conditioned place, but just about everything was closed...at least, the places that had indoor dining closed their indoor dining.
