HEROES, ah! THe show provided some prime information for fans tonight which helped explain a good many things about certain identities and yet didn't give away all of its secrets.

What a great show!

STUDIO 60 had an entertaining hour tonight, too, as the plot jumped back and forth in time covering a week where many in the cast were coming down with flu, a new writing staff tried to get one sketch written that was worthy of putting on the air. and HArriet tried learning to tell a joke. (I empathized with her; I'm the worst joke teller in the business.)

And I'll have OLD CHRISTINE and CSI: MIAMI to watch tomorrow.

I'll want to finish the second SUPERMAN disc in the set, and then I'll probably put in THE FALLEN IDOL.

DRs, I loathe and detest cell phones, but I think I should take one to LA with me.  I do not want any plan and be stuck paying for a phone beyond this trip.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Can you buy "pay in advance" systems  (Eg  $20 which can be "topped up") and  purchase the cheapest phone possible. (2nd hand)

T-mobile has a pretty good pre-paid plan. And you can get a decently priced, simple, reliable Nokia at Target.

Speaking of LA, was it mentioned where/when the pre-matinee breakfast is going to be?
I'll already be in Manhattan Beach, so I'll need to mapquest it from there. And maybe after I could follow someone to LACC? I lived in The Valley (TM) for 3 years, but I didn't get out much, so I still need help getting around in the south land.

Which gag they kept successfully running throughout the show.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but I want to find the sheet music for Getting Lucky, from The Chipmunk Adventure. (It's really a fun song!)

After working on Comic Relief (featuring the aformentioned Wayne Brady) I went to the new house to do the final work before my little French boy arrives tomorrow. So I finished cleaning the hardwood floors, polished some of them, and did deep cleaning or bathroom and kitchen. In other words, I did a Matt H, but without the TV viewing.

We'll resume painting after our boy leaves and we're back from Santa Fe. I feel like I will be painting this house for the rest of my unnatural life...

I didn't get to tune in for "!0 Items or Less" on TBS but imdb had something about it and I noticed Robert Clendenin in the cast. He's one of my favorite recurring characters in "The Closer".

My favorite scene I think is in the season 1 finale, when Brenda is about to lose her job and goes in to apologize to the powers that be and ends up insulting them all. Classic!

I take it your CraigsList post of "Will trade editing for house painting" got no takers :(

SEVEN!!

Tonight's rehearsal went fairly well.  We actually got through the whole show, but I didn't do any make-up.  I realized that I need to get some darker lip stick.  I got a metalic pink and it's like I put on lip gloss instead of lip stick. ;)

SIX!!

The costume guy still needs to finish up some details on my Indian costume.  The back is still open and there is supposed to be a purple ruffle on the very bottom hem.

There are feathers in my wig, and I do have a couple of purple bead necklaces.  One of the other Indians has silver sequins and a pink boa. ;D

Congratulations DR George.

Feathers and sequins - may they stay where they should and not get stuck in the throats of lecherous cannibals.
