Now remind me what your hooked up with an HDMI cable on your system? Was it from the DVD player? Or am I just confused.

I know I need one for the Comcast DVR box, which I can get free (I guess) from Comcast. Or are you talking about the 3 pronged plug in...maybe that is what it was. I am getting my cables crossed.

My cable company would not supply a free HDMI cable. They would supply a free component set of cables, but I had plenty of those already.

I think JR and I will collaborate on

WORLD PREMIERE:  THE MUSICAL

for next year's NYMF.  Since we're probably the only two people who've seen the source material.  (And I have the original shooting script).   ;D

I must get my eyes checked:  I thought the banner ad said "Join Club Sex and get FREE SHIPPING on all orders."  (It was Club SFX, a shoe company).

Oooh, it's reading my mind--now it says, "If you're lost, get found."  Is this Room 1408 or something?

Back from the doctor.  I'm on an antibiotic, Zyrtec, and a nasal spray and was told to drink plenty of fluids.

When I got home I made Tuna Glop - can you say "comfort food"?

DR Matt H. has a show-stopping number in the kitchen with a mop.

How did you know?

And the title of this magnificent opus?

We had color Playbills for Our Wedding . . .

Our Wedding II might confuse the customer - is this a renewal of vows or a bridal replacement?

No word yet on Our Wedding - the Sequel :-X

I spent most of the afternoon continuing with the MEDIUM DVD set. I'm on disc 5 now (of 6). One of my favorites from last season, the episode with Allison's brother Michael who's hired to come to Phoenix and help a woman find her husband's killer, is the one I just finished watching.

I wish they would make Michael a regular on the show. I love the dynamic between Allison and Michael.

Patricia Arquette's brother David (married to Courtney Cox) directed the episode with Allison's brother Michael, and I noticed in the special features that one of them is about David directing his sister in an episode. Looking forward to that featurette.

I concluded my afternoon with a quick skim of AS THE WORLD TURNS. Yep, the gay characters were there, but the previews suggest they won't be on tomorrow.

Hello people  thank you for the vibes they are most appreciated... sounds like we have the same thing Ginny... I am sorry

I went into the offie today  After 2 hours I had no emails and 1 phone call and several episodes of coughing , one so bad it literally brought me to my knees

with the urging of my coworkers I called my boss (oh, he was out in the park with his kids) and said I was going home sick,

Once home I had some hot tea and fell asleep in the recliner for a couple of hours

Vixter and Vixdad went out for a ride in the glorious sunshine but it just seemd like too much work to walk out to the car so I bid them farewell and dozed for another hour or so

thought I would drop by here to see if Mike threw his TV out the window yet

Talk of sequels reminds me that when they made a movie of Alan Bennett's play about the monarch who lost the American colonies, "The Madness of George III" the studio insisted on calling it "The Madness of King George" lest anybody believe that you had to have seen "The Madness of George I" and "The Madness of George II" in order to enjoy it.

Despite glowing reviews, the film fans didn't flock.

I have survived my weirdest ever DVD reviewing experience:

Has anyone seen this show?

I believe I've posted this before, but DS Betsy was going through my movie collection when we were still dating and came across the Korda/Sabu film "Elephant Boy," and asked me what it was about.  I told her it was the prequel to "Elephant Man."  She believed me, and still ended up agreeing to marry me after I let her in on the secret.

Heading down now to make a phone call or two and then go right back to viewing MEDIUM. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish the set by this time tomorrow afternoon.

Well, if you had flashed pictures of your gold lamé boys around town sooner, you probably would have sold out, too!  ;)

I'll drink to that!  I think Steve's gold lames would have brought in a huge number of prime target NYMF audiences.  There were no production photos actually taken, were there?  There was a photographer from Broadwayworld.com at THE TRAGIC & HORRIBLE LIFE OF THE SINGING NUN.

Would the re-release be considered a current-events flick?

Oh... And after Googling, I came across Peter Marks - he was still with the New York Times at that time - review of Signature Theatre's production of Working.  -And I was "reminded" yet again of the some mis-leading, mistaken wording in his review:Hmm... I don't seem to recall Eric Schaeffer being a part of the original Broadway production.

She wishes!
