If they bother you, just kick 'em to the curb. After all, you the star! :)
I do remember the Gary Hart case somewhat.
He certainly would have gotten the Democratic nomination had it not been for the scandal.
I thought the Gary Hart debacle was kind of the beginning of political candidates as tabloid celebrities in a big way.....his taunt to the press really set them off - and I am happy they obliged him in the way they did.
I don't care to see a movie about it - the real thing was enough.....

I was very disappointed he sabotaged his career and am not sure I want to see the movie though I probably will.
We ended going to Patsy's Pizzeria, which is near their hotel. I have to say the pizza was delicious, especially the crust.

I'm hungry.
Vixmom, we will ALL party here if you get that new job!
I am spending my morning tearing up my front yard. My neighbor will be pleased, I guess. I'm tired of The City.
BK (and anyone else in the L.A. area), have you heard about this?
L.A. considers raising speed limits on more than 100 miles of streets (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/la-considers-raising-speed-limits-on-more-than-100-miles-of-streets/ar-BBQfiB0).

After many years of telling unbelieving people about a production of West Side Story that played Frank Sennes' Moulin Rouge that I saw, and which featured original stars Chita Rivera and Larry Kert, I now finally have a program from it along with the opening night menu choices. So, non-believers, you can now kiss my ASS :) I'll scan it later and put it in tomorrow's notes. What's really fascinating is how correct I was about WHEN I would have had to have seen it. The film opened in December of 1961. This opened in June of 1962 to cash in on the success of the film, and I saw it right out of junior high school at the age of fourteen. Other members of the film cast were also in it, including Tucker Smith, Gus Trikonis, and David Winters. It was a very cheap production - I remember the balcony swaying precariously. Also a band of about twelve, as I recall. But the dancing was superb - recreated by Chita's then-husband and the film's Action, Tony Mordente.

Congrats on getting your proof though I don't know why people doubted you.

I'm just back from a lovely dinner on the River Walk. The weather was perfect, so we sat outdoors. The Christmas lights in the trees were beautiful.

The beautiful photo doesn't show the crowds we saw at Christmas. Was it busy? Where did you eat?

It was fairly busy, with boats and walkers. It was a place called Ostra, which specializes in seafood. It was a nice evening. I had a half-dozen oysters on the half shell as well as some snapper tacos with, in honor of BK, a kale salad.

Here's a pro photographer's capturing of the scene.
DR John, good luck tomorrow and sleep well.
We discovered a Redbox at Walgreens conveniently located next door to the gym. Tonight we are watching SEARCHING.
I'm starting to watch a play called Deceit by on Bruce Kimmel. Interesting premise.
Deceit was a lot of fun, BK.
SEARCHING was excellent.
I listened to the CD at work before the building closed.
While I was eating, I was reading Lethal White by Robert Galbraith (a.k.a. J.K. Rowling) on my new (to me) Kindle. I'm about 70% of the way through.
Hi, George.
George, do you now LaNita in CHRISTMAS STORY.
Cheryl and Janis (the two women of The Manhattan Transfer) are singing "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square" (one of the Transfer's signature songs) with two of the men from Take 6. Very nice.
What is SEARCHING?
I wonder who the drummer is on Stephen Colbert’s show? He is a hottie!
It is almost the midnight hour.
Oh yuck! The McRib sandwich is coming back.
When will they let you know.
Siri says that Garth Brooks is only one inch taller than Stephen Colbert, but he looked like a giant next to him.

I know...maybe Garth is wearing cowboy boots with heels.
But George, you aren’t up at 9:00 a.m.
