Well here is the NEW hotel in NYC.....I am sure many of us here at HHW will make it our NYC home away from home when traveling to the Big Apple. I think it opens in March.

I've decided that during this writing period I simply don't have time to do the four-mile jog, so I'm doing a two-mile jog, which I can find time for. That is what I did after finessing the twenty pages I wrote yesterday, including four pages of new additions. Then I went to grab a bacon cheeseburger. Whilst eating I received an e-mail from one of our singers saying she got a callback in NY and was dropping out of our show - she provided the names of some gals who could replace her. It wasn't even a discussion - she just dropped out, the day of her first rehearsal. Needless to say, I will not be working with her again. I wish her well on her call back. My guess is had her agent actually asked the people in NY if she could come in next Monday they would have said yes. That's happened several times with our folks and the producers, since they're calling back someone they obviously are interested in, have been fine with waiting the couple of days.

So, I had to deal with all that, plus pick up packages and an important envelope, plus do banking. So, I've written about nine pages so far, will stop now, have our rehearsals, and really try to write at least six more this evening, directly after rehearsal. But given the number of pages I've already written, I'm certainly not going to feel back having written nine today, if that's all I were to do.

This is a hilarious, horrible video of kids being given an early Christmas present that the parents knew the kid would hate. Boy, there are some spoiled brats out there. I hated gifts I received as a child and recognize some of the emotions, but I don't think I ever behaved that badly.
