I think it depends if you want warm weather or not. Personally with so much cold weather during the year i would 1000 times more rather take a warm cruise than visit Alaska (also depends on if Alaska interests them).

We can't take out library books on kindles here, so this doesn't affect me. But I also originally thought that like if you purchase an ebook that everyone would get theirs immediately at the library.

But it seems to be similar to if you loan an ebook to your friend (it is not available to you during the period it is loaned to your friend). That is why i was wondering if the next person in the queue would have to wait if you don't turn on your wifi and return the book. I was just trying to make sense of it in my head.

What do those look like? I've only ever seen and used the one from the netipot company. But they are very good if you have a lot of sinus problems. I don't use mine all the time. Because my probs aren't as severe as my sis and her friend.

It's a big squeezy bottle and you mix formula with boiled water (cooled down). You spray it up one nostril and it pours out the other.

That is very interesting!

Although for most people not turning on the wifi is not an option. I see a few free books a week i want and like to download them right away. Plus when i wake up and before bed i like to be able to check my email quickly instead of having to turn on the computer!

I've about had it with "experts" talking about films. "The Egyptian" featured two guys whose expertise was apparently in super-hero stuff. Because they "love" Herrmann, they were hired to do a commentary (by Fox, as I understand it).

Fox has a serious problem finding appropriate commentarians. The Richard Barrios commentary for the Roadshow version of "South Pacific" is one of the most negative AND piss-poor commentaries I've had the displeasure of listening to. The man owns nothing that he says...but he says it anyway.

Friday media check: I have 2 CDs and 1 DVD that I got for Christmas - the new FOLLIES cast recording, Barbara Cook's YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO YOUNG, and MIDNIGHT IN PARIS. Also on DVD, at Target's after-Christmas sale I bought ENCHANTED and JULIE AND JULIA for $4.49 each. Couldn't pass up those bargains!

We're waiting for the first disc of Season 1 to arrive so we can jump on the DOWNTON ABBEY bandwagon.

I remember a magazine review years ago where a critic said one of the "problems" with BEN-HUR was Rozsa's score!

Once again? Streep has never won an Oscar in a year when Close was nominated. If they are both nominated and Streep wins, it will be the first time.
