I took a Carnival cruise and liked it (although it was like 12 years ago).
Betsy is skiing with our niece today. Our niece is finishing her last semester at Reed, which means she soon won't be able to say "no" when we ask her to housesit.

I'm a bit achy in the bones today because yesterday I decided to show off and shovel not only my own sidewalk but my neighbor lady's as well. There really wasn't much to shovel but in quite a few spots the surface of the snow had frozen to ice and I to slam the snow shovel against it. But I've been feeling better as the wore on so I think I'll survive.
And yet, there were some who told you that you would love your Kindle!

Because I love covers. And I love actual books.I really thought that i would only use it to get books that i could not read in hardcopy.I still don't like or want to pay the prices of new ebooks (i'm sorry but $13 seems like way too much when you can buy the book in hardcover on the bookdepository for less). But I had no idea there were so many free books. I do like it for books i can't get otherwise. And i had no idea that i could check my email or update my goodreads account. So i like that part.
The newest member of my family.....an alto flute!

I remember having lots of know when we lived outside of Philly. One of my best experiences was sledding under a full moon.
