I do have to say...  It's amazing how this city can tear you down one day, and then bring you right back up the next, stronger and more hopeful than ever.

I was supposed to meet up with some former co-workers tonight for a friend's farewell party, but I'm going to have to skip it so that I can call the vet, and hopefully bring Walty home.

DR TPunk - I hope Walty is able to come back home tonight too.  I'm sure he's missing Kilbot too.

From the New York Times:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The CIA officer whose identity was leaked to reporters sued Vice President Dick Cheney, his former top aide and presidential adviser Karl Rove on Thursday, accusing them and other White House officials of conspiring to destroy her career.

Off to do the usual chores and then settle in with something before GREY'S ANATOMY and other reruns tonight. Of course, GREY'S will be new to me since I'm just now getting into the show.

I'm thinking about it... Especially since it's back in the Nikos - which means there is air conditioning this year!  The old church is a nice space, but not exactly the most comfortable place to be in when the temps and the humidity are running high.

I'll have a better idea of my "thoughts" after tomorrow morning.  -I'd also like to go up and see Anything Goes anyway since I played most of the auditions for it.

My designer to despise this go-round is Malan Breton...SUCH a PHONY!

FJL, I don't know if Rodzinski and I can do the 13th- I do believe that we will be in Ohio that weekend for a wedding, but I will double check with the powers that be.

Ohio, you say?  Shall I start cooking up an HHW do?

I do also have an autographed photo of Mr. Bruce Kimmel, from his appearence on LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY...however, I don't believe I have ever gotten the autograph of Guy Haines!

I was able to get Guy Haines' autograph on his first CD!...with BK's autograph, as well. ;)  Otherwise, I have:
  • Bruce Kimmel on several CDs, DVDs and books
  • Matt Ashford ("Deceit" DVD)
  • Cy Coleman (on a promo album of the "Sweet Charity" soundtrack)
  • Betty Buckley (in person after "Sunset Blvd.")
  • Terry White (in person at Eighty-Eights, where she was bartending!)
  • The Manhattan Transfer (eBay)
  • Laurel Massé (by very kind courtesy of Jose!!)
  • Liz Callaway (through BK's former label)
  • Melissa Manchester (in person here in Olympia)
  • Debbie Gravitte (in person here in Olympia)
  • Stephen Schwartz (in person here in Olympia)
  • Ruth and Anita Pointer (in person here in Olympia)
  • In London, after seeing "Kiss Me, Kate," I got autographs and pictures of Marin Mazzie, Michael Berresse, Nancy Anderson, Nicolas Colicos and a couple of other actors, but not the World's Sexiest Man Alive, Brent Barrett. :(
These are probably most of what I have. :)

Many signed books by authors such as Robert Kimball, Ethan Mordden, Anderson Farrell, and others

I lost my two most prized autographs in the 1970s before I moved to New York:  letters from Benjamin Britten and Lotte Lenya.

LOL!!!  I thought you wrote, "letters from Benjamin Franklin........"

Ooohh!  Ooohh! Ooohhh!!!!!  (ah, a "Welcome Back, Kotter" reference)

I watched last night's first episode.  -The perfect "accompaniment" to "So You Think You Can Dance?".  -Although, I hear that I should tune into "America's Got Talent" too.

As for "Project Runway"...  They're not even sure at this point in the game whether Malan's accent is for real.  I'm just wondering how many more episodes there will be until they show the "shocking" episode where a major rule is broken.
