Favorite heist films:

The Bollywood film JEWEL THIEF starring Dev Anand, Tanuja, and Vijayantimala.

It is about a jewel thief.

Michael, you crack me up!

By "high-tech" I meant that its "R" factor is quite high, so we will hopefully be noticing a warm-up down in the Rec Room.  It's a neat little door with a built-in screened window, so we can jettison our completely decrepit old wooden screen door, which was probably circa 1956 (and looked like it).  Of course I am circa 1956, but am youthful and vibrant.  ;)

Topic of the Day:  I loved both "Gambit" and the original "Thomas Crown Affair" (which have already been mentioned).

TOD:  I loved "Goldfinger" which was sort of a "heist" film.

Back from a somewhat lethargic long jog.  About a half-mile from the finish, it started to rain.  Unbelievable.  I put on some speed, went three blocks - suddenly no rain and the sun is out.  Ladies and gentlemen - welcome to LA.

Running way behind.  I shall now be on my way to rehearsal, then directly to La Mirada, so I'll be back later this evening.

*And I believe the ads for "Fallout 3" in the DC Metro have been causing some unease and concern among the ridership.  Seeing depictions of the Capitol in ruins is not exactly what wants to see when getting off the Red Line.

I know who didn't watch the clip ;)

Why does everyone seem to have such a problem with the quote feature on this new board?

(Awaiting "fun" and "wacky" responses utilizing this quote).  ;)

Those of us on the "right" side of the Force  have no difficulty :)

TOD Mystery:

I recall seeing a movie in the distant past about someone stealing a valuable painting.  The theft was to be accomplished some sort of bizarre Rube Goldburg type of contraption, which replaced the original canvas with a counterfit.  I'm pretty sure it was a comedy but I can't recall any of the cast or the title.  Anyone have any ideas?

Was it HOW TO STEAL A MILLION with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole?

First movie I thought of.

Not fun & wacky, once again I was told I had responded to a quote, which I had not, & couldn't do it again. ::)

Stupid more than fun & wacky, sometimes I put my post in-between two quotes, forgetting multiples appear now.

Don't even joke about that, isn't it still hunting season?  I used to put bright bandana’s on Echo, Sherlock & I go to safer trails.

I did get shot while Sherlock waited in the car.  So far just a slightly, very normal, ache in my arm.  The guy who gave me the injection said if I do have something more than allergies going on the vaccination could make it worse.  I decide that could be good it whatever I have progressed enough so it could go away.
