DR George - When "You Must Meet My Wife" is taken slowly, it can indeed be deathly.

*And it sometimes means the pianist is still dealing with all those key changes and accidentals. ;)

Nope, I don't think that that was his problem.  He can play fast...very fast.

Oh...

And...

I saw a listing for a new documentary that is supposed to be released/open this weekend. It's called:

"The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story"

I'm sort of surprised that I haven't seen anything about it in the various Disney newsletters I get. -Or maybe I did, and just overlooked it somehow. Angela Landbury is listed as a cast member.

bk - Have you heard anything about this? -And now that I think of it, I think you may have mentioned it after the last time you ran into one of the Sherman boys. Or maybe you didn't..

Good morning, all! I am not dealing with the McGlinnventory today because of sickness in the paralegal's family. That gives me a day here to work on Loesser music, run to the pharmacy, and maybe run up and close the storage space. All good.

DR JRand58, I did forget to tell you what else you have in common with David Charles Abell besides MAN OF LA MANCHA. It's KISS ME KATE!

David conducted the show last year for the Glimmerglass Opera, and he is now editing a new edition of the full orchestra score, to be published (I believe) by Alfred Publications and the Cole Porter Literary and Musical Properties Trust. When I was in DC, he and I spent an afternoon looking at a lot of the early KATE manuscripts.

TOD:
  Tuck Everlasting
  The Wind In The Willows
To Kill A Mockingbird (This will get a lot of votes here, I believe)

I think Agatha Christie often came up with great titles  (though not too surprising considering her output):

ELEPHANTS CAN REMEMBER
THE MIRROR CRACK'D
SAD CYPRESS
SPARKLING CYANIDE

and her travelogue COME TELL ME HOW YOU LIVE

Good morning!

It's overcast this morning, but there really isn't rain in the forecast, so it's just cloudy. Not as cool as previous mornings either. I think we've seen the last glimmers of late winter/early spring as far as cool nights.
