And the word of the day is: SEMAPHORE!
Today’s topic of discussion: An easy one – what did you get for Christmas?
OH, and I got this...

The man or the car? (or the comb?)
Good morning, all! Merry Christmas to you all!
I slept late this morning, and I am about to open all my cards and packages. The first thing I opened this morning was my email from DR MichaelShayne, who's been a computer wizard once again:

I wish you all a fantatic day and that 2006 is kind and generous to each and every one of you.
We opened all our gifts last night at my parents' house. I got two shirts (one white, one light blue) ...
What great pictures!!
And red cups and plates!!!
DR PENNYO looks fabulous as does former DRPANNI! What a great outfit PANNI is wearing!
You might want to offer one to MBarnum's driver... and check if it fits!! :D
Umm...I don't think so. He's fine, just the way he is! ;)
I'msure if you'd check the... garters, you'd find they were red too!
Had a very nice sleep, and am feeling very garlicky this fine and beautiful morning.
DR MBARNUM is that Van Williams aka The Green Hornet?
Then, I put in WHITE CHRISTMAS. I got through "Count Your Blessings" before I saved my place to return to it later this evening.
Always wonderfully entertaining.

Happy Holidays to all. I may not post as much as I used to, but I still read this every day and I still think BK's A BROADWAY CHRISTMAS and A HOLLYWOOD CHRISTMAS are two of the three best Christmas CDs im my collection. (FYI, the third is A JOHN WATERS CHRISTMAS).
I still read this every day
Visit with darling daughter is ending, and I shall now be on my way to Nick Redman's home environment. Keep the home fries burning. I won't be too long.
You are so far behind !!
December the 26th now here! :)
Happy Christmas to you and Ray
Vibes to a special man in Tacoma is not feeling well this day. Hint - it's not Jed.
You are so far behind !!
And why rush - the future gets here soon enough anyway.
DR Barnum:
A "driver" like that must drive you "crazy" no?
and now I'm debating crossing the street and seeing the 7:45 showing of THE PRODUCERS.
That is EXACTLY where I stopped as well DRMATTH - so that I could finish watching the fabulous Mexican Cabareteria film sent me by DRMBARNUM.
En Carne Viva - The RAW Life. Whew!
MBARNUM make sure you watch the Trailers on this disc - Santo the Wrestler fights some guys from space who can make themselves invisible, and it all ends up - in the ring. Also a trailer for an interesting film called Quinceaneros.....I think it means graduation....but it looks GREAT! 8)
It's always wonderful to have elmore over, but elmore left taking about half of the partygoers with him (party of ten cut in half to party of five). :) With the remaining five folk happening to be mostly of the Hebrew persuasion, we switched the focus of celebration. We broke out the Menorah and candles and welcomed in the Festival of Lights with a light show of both flaming and vocal pyrotechnics not seen in our apartment since last Hannukah.
Now, Francois, do I make terrible puns out of your holidays?
I'll work on one for Bastille Day.
Nice to be with you all again. I've missed you all!
Good evening, fellow Dear Readers. What a busy day it has been!
TOD: my gift from DR Sandra is a lovely CD by "Wing." It is really... words can't ..... It's just so.... Um, ok.

Even though I'm sure Miss Aimée would think it's a compliment!

Pedro the Fisherman charged with theft in July. I think it was Bass steal day.
Of course this was the woman who changed her name from AIMEE to FINI when she married Albert.
BASTILLE MY HEART - that's the title of my next revolting musical (or at least musical about revolting)
Penny O looks fabulous and radiant.
<burp>
I did go to see THE PRODUCERS, which I loved. It's almost a verbatim vision of the stage show, which I adored, and I had a great time. I saw several friends in it: Patrick Brady is seen briefly as the conductor of "Springtime for Hitler," Debra Monk, Brent Barrett, Jai Rodriguez are all quite funny, and there's a great shot of Karen Ziemba at the end of the opening number. Other guest stars include John Barrowman, David Huddleston, Jon Lovitz, Michael McKean, and the cast credits at the end are a virtual who's who of the current Broadway scene. Also, when you go, stay till the very end of the credits!!!!
I'm actually pondering going to see a midnight showing tonight. A couple of the Damn Yankees crew is in the movie - our Lola, Meg Gillentine, opens the movie as one of the usherettes. We shall see...
Go! It's fantastic! You'll have a great time. I'm thinking about going back tomorrow night. It's the most faithful film of a stage show since probably THE MUSC MAN. Stroman let's the camera stand back a lot of the time to capture the dancing and there's not all that MOULIN ROUGE idiocy during the choreography. According to the IMDB, George Dvorsky, Judy Kaye and a lot of other friends are in it, so that's a reason to go back.
Here's The Silver Fox, PennyO, and Panni.Goodness gracious, PennyO looks FANTASTIC! (So does Panni, but it's PennyO who has the new look.)
So... After spending a couple of years in Richmond, I have to wonder what DR SWW will be serving his ham on... White House Rolls? Beaten Biscuits? Wonder Bread? Parker House Rolls?Wouldn't salted butter be redundant?
;)
...And there better be some Duke's Mayo on the side. And just Duke's! Well, Sauer's will do in a pinch too.
-Although, I do like cornichons with my ham biscuits from time to time. ...And maybe some butter too. Salted, of course.
Wouldn't salted butter be redundant?
Can't we keep SOMETHING ELSE burning for a change?! ;)Just think of them as pommes frites.
