Good morning, all! I slept quite well, with the mal and female ghosts putting in an appearance again, him around midnight. I heard about five words, very low and very quiet, but they were words. At 2:26 this morning - I know because I turned on the light and checed the clock - the lady said "Hi," and freaked me out. Unlike Ebeneezer, they haven't offered to show me my life.

This morning, first thing, I've got a barber appointment, followed by a stay at Toyland, while I wait for a delivery. DR Ben's spouse Anthony is stopping by to pick up a couple of recordings he will convert to CD tracks for me so it will be nice to see him. My bag is packed with work so I don't get bored waiting.

TOD:
DVD: Doris Day/Gordon Macrae films from Netflix, several operas
CD:  Rodgers & Hammerstein overtures, Guy Haines, Readers Digest operettas, Offenbach
  VCR: New porn!

Today we are taking the Chinese kids to Mt. Hood to intertube.  Then they move on to other climes tomorrow.  Betsy and I are completely and utterly exhausted, plus I am nursing a little cold.

It's part of the Universal 100, so it should be this year.  I don't think actual street date has been announced yet.

I don't actually know how many people will be there. But it has to be a big enough cake to at least serve 12 people.

Can you buy one from someplace like Costco?  They have large cheesecakes and they're very reasonably priced...if you have a Costco near you AND you have a membership.

Granted I have never tasted a Costco cheesecake I find the thought of purchasing one from them unappealing, plus DR Jennifer likes to bake.

I do have a Costco only 5 minutes away. And i do have a membership. And i have actually tasted their cakes before. They do actually make some different stuff. And it is very reasonably priced.

But DR Jane is right. I would not bring something that is bought. I want to make it.  Anyhow i'm going to try a peanut butter/cream cheese pie. It has chocolate drizzled on the top. And oreo cookie crumbs as the base (i like all those things i named). It also has some dessert topping mixed in (i guess to give it some height).  Hopefully it will be good.
