Back from a really fun birthday dinner with the namesake of part two of GEE - Peyton, newly thirteen, and her mom. Dad and brother went to a movie. Thank goodness we didn't have pizza. Peyton and I had carbonara - so good. And for the first time I had their chocolate mousse for dessert and it was incredible.

All their shows are religious, and all the previous shows we have seen were a second on Old Testament stories, Noah, Joseph, Moses, Samson.... Every time they managed to somehow work Jesus into the story line

There were only about a dozen people because of the weather. But they stayed throughout.

It was very good, and it was before the movie. I don’t know what the documentary will be like. It’s become a personal story of the director, rather than being strictly about Viva Max. I do not know the name...do you recommend it?

I’m waiting for a copy. I don’t think it’s out yet. Nesbo is one of those popular Scandinavian mystery writers that are dark and fascinating.
