Good Evening!
Now that I've some time to think about it, here's my Top 10 Most Listened To CDs:
- "Passion in Jazz" - Terry Trotter Trio
- big (OBC) - There's just something so "happy" about this score to me.
- Merrily We Roll Along (OBC) - Love that Overture! Love those horns!
- "Knoxville: Summer of 1915" - Dawn Upshaw. -However, I usually skip over Harbison's "Mirabai Songs". -Oh, and is there a recording of "The Old Maid and the Thief"?
- Violet (OCR)
- "New Moon Shine" - James Taylor. Although I go through JT phases with "October Road", "Greatest Hits (1)" and "Hourglass"
- "An Innocent Man" - Billy Joel
- "Tears of Joy" - Tuck & Patti - I like their latest stuff, mainly originals, but I'm hoping they do another album of standards.
- "So Many Stars" - Kathleen Battle - A very neat crossover album, jazz meets classical and vice versa.
- "The Harold Alren Songbook" - Ella Fitzgerald
