Looks like my work project tomorrow will be MY THREE SONS - Season 1, Volume 2. There are 18 episodes in this set, so they'll likely take me two days to do them.

Hi DR ArnoldMBrockman.  I wish your alma matter, & Craig's, had a carrier center which actually helped graduates find jobs instead of dispensing hot air.

I agree and What Can We Do?

I just read that Ricardo Montalban died at age 88

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28661103/

I mentioned this earlier today in a prior post here.

Ironic that one of his sexiest roles as a boxer in RIGHT CROSS was shown today on TCM.

Sorry I missed that, Matt

I enjoyed Love in the Time of Cholera.  The next movie in my queue is Burn After Reading.  That should be fun

BURN AFTER READING is one I'm looking forward to seeing eventually. The Coens make quirky comedies. SOmetimes they work; sometimes they don't, but they're always interesting even with their failures.

JR knows that Ricardo Montalban made his film debut in a picture that was to have starred Miss Frances Farmer--"Five Were Chosen," a Budd Schulberg script that was filmed in Mexico.  Frances freaked out and started appearing nude in the hotel squiriting people with a seltzer bottle, as Ricardo recounts in a great Television Academy archive video.

Hi DR ArnoldMBrockman.  I wish your alma matter, & Craig's, had a carrier center which actually helped graduates find jobs instead of dispensing hot air.

It would be even better if career centers gave undergrads better advice on what degrees were marketable and what were not. In today's world Renaissance man is nearly unemployable. Geologists dine on steak, ecologists use Food Stamps.

Got my replacement copy of Om Shanti Om, which I've been watching for the last three hours.  Other than the fact it would be better twenty minutes shorter, it was quite enjoyable.  If MBarnum or anyone has the soundtrack CD, does it have just the songs or also the background score?

A little bit.  I always bring something home, doesn't mean I touch it, but I bring it home ;)

Clearly a woman ahead of her time. Such activities in today's Portland would not even cause mention.

Just stopping by for a minute.  I am not attending rehearsal tonight.  I have been sick to my stomach for the last couple of hours, and now I am feeling quite chilled.  I cannot be sick, I have leave time left, plus I have the memorial service on Saturday.

I am going to bed and I am going to pray for a miracle.

Good Late Night/Early Morning!

I'm back in Richmond... And wondering why Carson Daly keeps getting less and less cute.  ???

Anyhoo... Time for me to catch up on the day's posts...

I'm listening to very lovely CDs.

I just watched three hours of "Lost."  It's nice to have the refresher for next week's season premier.

*There's a Crumbs Bakeshop just two blocks away from Levain.  Just FYI.  ;)

Is there also one on 42nd St., across from Bryant Park?  Richard and I stopped in there just before closing time and there weren't even any crumbs left!

Yes, there is, DR Ginny.  Yes there is.

Wow - DR JOSE - he must be super talented or have a great agent!  Or maybe he is a HAPPY DAYS fan.

A little bit of both, coupled with the fact that this was, more or less, an "emergency replacement" situation.  He's a very talented actor and singer, and has a good face too.  ;)  If you'd like to see his face: Daniel Robinson
