"Te adoro, antonomasia"   (almost a West side Stoy reference)

Can I have a definition of Stoy?

As if driver's license photos weren't bad enough already...

As if It Needed to, Virginia Bans Smiles at the DMV

And in Washington State they will just shoot you with pepper spray and then say "Cheese."

Or "Neufchatel"!

Hi Adam! Are you watching the National Spelling Bee?

Are you kidding?  After Rebecca Sealfon spelled "euonym" in 1997 I never miss it!

For DAW:

The Liberty Education Forum (the educational arm of Log Cabin) has launched a website called WHAT MARRIAGE MEANS dedicated to supporting the legalization of some-sex marriage in New York state.

Perhaps you'd like to contribute your thoughts.

der Brucer

You mean...there's a specific marriage option for people who only sometimes have sex?? :o

;)

Well, so much for spell-checkers :(

Well, I'll be darned! We DID have another rain shower early this evening. Around 6 p.m. and it lasted for about half an hour. Really cooled things down.

I managed to finish the episode of CANNON that I had only gotten halfway through. Then, I watched six more episodes. That leaves me with two remaining episodes which I'll be able to get to easily tomorrow.

I had to make my heart be still for a little while when George Maharis appeared as the guest star on one of the episodes. And he was beautifully dressed and the early 70s TV color was very flattering to him.

I'm thinking that maybe after I finish those two CANNON episodes tomorrow, I'll take the rest of the day off. I haven't had a day off in several weeks.

Well... I need to start winding down from the day myself.  I'm hoping to head out in the morning to run a couple of errands, and then spend a few hours back here at the apartment working on some stuff.  And, then, hopefully, get a jump start on my weekend.  Whatever that means. ;)

Goodnight.

Back from a mostly fun get-together.  There was some unnecessary drama when I arrived, having to do with best pal Nick and a well-known member of the film music label community - lots of acrimony between them, but Nick took the high road when he was verbally attacked as soon as he entered the room - Julie Kirgo, Nick and I went to the bar, and then I had a little chat with the offending fellow and told him he was just making himself look like a petulant child.  He stopped and the evening proceeded well.  Lots of fun folks there from various film music labels.  We were given entree choices so I had a small piece of prime rib and a potato and it was very good.  Also about five pieces of garlic cheese bread, which was as good as it's ever been.  And it finally met Craig Spaulding, the man who owns and runs the online store Screen Archives Entertainment - I've known him since Bay Cities, but we'd never met.  Great guy and we really hit it off beautifully.  He also told me how many God's Little Acres he was taking - it's basically sold out right now - I'll have just enough to fill my usual orders.

Oy! I didn't realize I had been playing my Wii for 2 1/2 hours tonight.  It's great fun and I think it will be great exercise, but I wondered why it kept saying "Do you think you need to take a break" lol.  I'll be sore tomorrow
