I'll try that, Jane.  Can you actually quote from one window to another?

No.  I type "from DR....", copy & pate & quote.  Or I simply comment.

Got it. Beats the heck out of trying to remember where I was..   there was a previous edition of HHW where i don;t recall having this issue, or maybe I'm just mis-remembering.

Maybe you accidentally (somehow) unchecked the "Return to this topic" box under Additional Options... when you posted your message.  That's the only thing that I can think of.

It has happened to me a few times, sometimes due to the glitch in the site, others because I didn't check if anyone had posted above me after I returned to the original, quoted, message.

Be back later.

TOD

Don't remember which colors were favorites, but I'm revisiting the old names on Wikipedia which has a chart you can sort. .....

What a fun list!  I really liked the "precious metals" - copper, gold, and silver.

I loved to color and still do, but now I'm learning to use Copic Markers.

Those colors were never in the boxes I got.  You got the BIG box of Crayola Crayons, didn't you!!??

I always wanted the big box but my mom got me the 48 crayon boxes instead

You had lots of siblings.  I'm surprised you didn't have multiple boxes around the house.  I can't say if I had it or not.  I know I didn't wish I had it.  Between school & home there seemed to be plenty of crayons.  I remember sometimes more "flesh" colored ones were needed if there were several of us coloring in people.

I only had one brother who was 4 years older and one sister who is 7 years older.  I got the 48s, but I got a new one every year

Yes, I did get the big box of Crayons!  Still have one, but I think it's the one we bought for Rob.

Well, I have a couple of busy days ahead.  Tomorrow is a meeting of the volunteer administrators at a nonprofit I've been wanting to visit.  On the way home, I'll pick up a ham and a turkey roast at Honey Baked to serve as the main course at a potluck dinner here on Thursday.  My book group friends are coming to celebrate our group's 21st anniversary and watch the movie version of the book we read this month, Sarah's Key.

I'll be thinking about DR Danise at 10:30 tomorrow morning.

Sounds silly.  I made a note that she'll be having her phone call at 10:30.  i know sending mental vibes for an interview don;t REALLY help during the interview, but what the heck, LOL, it'll make me feel better to believe I'm doing something to try.

All the pop music is on YouTube very quickly anyway these days, and then I can just download almost anything for 99 cents, then the occasional album, and some even have sales for a few bucks for a whole album more often than you'd think.  but so much is on YouTube sooner than you'd think.

Watched the final episode of THE CLOSER...wow! It was great!

And, I watched MAJOR CRIMES....and I think I will stick with it since it managed to suck me into what appears will be an ongoing plot-line, even though I know exactly how it is going to go.

Good Evening!

Today was a day. A good day in many respects. And a strange/bad one too.

The good: Rehearsal. My follow-up with Chase Bank. Dinner at an Indian jernt near our rehearsal hall.

The bad: Finding out that one my roommates from the Anything Goes tour I was on passed away. Sadly, his death was attributed to some drug abuse. He was only 37. Rest In Peace, Jimmy.

Oh...

With four boys in my family, we usually had the boxes of 64 and 72 Crayolas.

*Wikipedia has a nice listing of the Crayola Colors.

Most of the pop music I "listen" to is usually part of a TV show - like "Grey's Anatomy", "Private Practice", etc.

I'm sort of amazed at my friends and colleagues who do seem to listen to pop music on a regular basis - and have the time to watch the videos and memorize the lyrics to a certain degree. I do try to "check in" every now and then with the current hits, but that's mainly so I don't get stumped when I have to play auditions for a show where "Sing a pop song" is a requirement.

Yesterday afternoon I received a call from the executive director of Middfest International with a plea for some emergency editing of a document that needs to go to press by the end of the week.  I brought home a print copy, which Richard helped me scan and open in word processing.  I worked on it last evening and this afternoon and sent my revision, via email, just before dinner.  During dinner, I received a call telling me that it's "Perfect" - whew!

Whew! ;)

And Congrats!

I had some snacks from Gelson's - two chicken tenders (small), a little chicken pasta salad, and some shrimp sushi.  Not too bad.  Oh, and I've been hooked on these little cranberry almond nougat bars - I but twenty at a time and eat them all up over a week's time.  They're only 130 calories each, but bet you can't eat just one.

A week ago, I bought a couple of bottles of Dr. Brown's Diet Cream Soda - I think it's time to open one of those puppies right now.
