Well, you've read the notes, the notes were very lime and rickeyesque, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're not coming home until they figure out what a lime rickey is.

And a happy haineshisway.com birthday to former dear reader Robin, who simply disappeared one day, never to be heard from again.

Can someone please tell me why I have this annoying shooting pain in the little toe of my left foot?  It feels like someone is jabbing it with a pin.  I can't feel anything wrong (like a splinter or whatever), nor can I imagine what would be causing it.

The Billy Gray that BK found so brattish in Moonlight Bay grew up to be Bud Anderson in Fathe Knows Best.

Warner Bros. Bans Advance Screenings in Canada

Quote
Warner Bros. has banned all advance screenings of its films in Canada, claiming piracy is rife in the country. The studio's forthcoming releases Ocean's Thirteen and Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix won't be shown north of the US border ahead of their release after Warner executives decided copyright laws in Canada fail to sufficiently protect films from being illegally copied. They claim 70 percent of Warners' releases in the last 18 months have been pirated in Canada. At present, it is not a criminal offence in the country to record movies in theatres for personal use.

And the word of the day is: OSCITANT!
Andrew had a meeting with a cadre of guys who wanted to turn CATS INTO a puppet show, but as the third hour droned on he found himself becoming OSCITANT.

As South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut so accurately stated, blame Canada.

(We here at HHW know better, of course, and have our own person to blame.)

Dame Shirley has now had an entry in the UK pop charts in each of  SIX DECADES.

Only Sir Cliff Richard and Elvis Presley (I know he's left the building) can claim the same!

Good morning at 7:03am. I just finished breakfast and will begin to tackle the work on my desk before my vacation. Later in the morning I will check in on-line and print our boarding passes.

MBarnum, although I don't want to discourage you from cultural pursuits while in New York, I'm not sure that a performance of Moon for the Misbegotten (even with Kevin Spacey) would be up your alley. Eve Best, who plays Josie is supposed to be breathtaking but Spacey has gotten mixed reviews (that shouldn't stop one from seeing a show, god knows LoveMusik got mixed reviews and I quite enjoyed it). It's also a VERY LONG show and I just checked the show and all this information is meaningless because the show ends on June 10th and you don't arrive until June 28!

Good morning, all!  Yes, DR Tomovoz, I am all caught up, and grateful that Mr Persoff did not show up last night.  My morning consists of puttering about the apartment and working on my editorial guidelines. After that, I've got a trip to NYPL, to look at newspapers from 1903-1906.

DR MBarnum, I'm sure there will be something to amuse you theatrically while you're terrifying the local aviary.  I'll look for something beyond a wrestling match or loincloth pageant I think you will find both edifying and entertaining.  Surely there's something.
