This afternoon I did watch some MEDIUM episodes. I began with the one with Molly Ringwald playing the blind girl who had the uneasy feeling she was being watched at night while she slept. One of the best episodes of the second season.

The other MEDIUM episode was the one I originally wanted to watch with Frederic Lane as the guest star. It involved the death of a man who thought he was doing secret government work (shades of A BEAUTIFUL MIND). David Carradine was also a guest star on the episode.

Yes, I finished the second volume last evening and am now a few pages into the third.  I am enjoying them immensely.  bk balances so delicately between whimsy, melancholy, the absurd, and heartbrake - the whole is surprisingly moving.  I would think especially for folks who have always been a bit on the periphery of the whole adolescent scene.

Yes, BK did a very fine job. Of course, KRITZER TIME has some of the best characters, IMHO.

I concluded my afternoon by watching LAYER CAKE, the thriller with Daniel Craig, Michael Gambon, and Colm Meany. The drug snatch and carry plot was overly convoluted, and with the thick Cockney accents, it was sometimes difficult to know who had what and who was trying to retrieve what. Certainly there were surprises along the way, but I can't imagine ever wanting to watch this again.

Tonight, I'll get to BULLITT and may have time left over to squeeze in a WILD WILD WEST episode before settling in with ABC's prime time line-up. I'll save the other shows for later viewing.

My impression was about the same as yours, Matt. I passed when it was in the theatres, but saw it on DVD. Yes on "overly convuluted" and I didn't really care a lot about the characters. I've seen some fine performances from Daniel Craig, but this wasn't one of them. I thought Michael Gambon did well, though; I've never seen a bad performance from him.

Oy. I am tired. Mr. Goldstein brought the girls over two hours early for church. The girls had a great time, but I imagine that Grandma will plotz when they tell her about their trip to church.

As I was watching it, I kept thinking that if I watched it again, some of the clouds of confusion over who was who and who wanted what would lift, and I might enjoy it more, but really, when it was over, I just knew that even at less than 2 hours, I could find a better film to rewatch. So, I erased it off the DVR.

I have finished smoothing out the last sixty-seven pages.  The final line I came up with last night works fine - I added one word to it, and that's what it will be, unless Margaret feels it needs something more - I like its simplicity, frankly.  I ended up taking out two little paragraphs that preceded the final two lines - they seemed like dead air to me.  I cleaned up a lot of little things.  Now, what should I EAT?

Pages are printing out, then I'll Xerox, then drop them by Margaret's.

As for Peeps...

I buy them.

I like them.

I eat them.

And I like to put them in the microwave, and watch them expand too.

DR Jose, I wanted to comment on your "hints" of potential gigs and say how thrilled I will be if any of them come to pass. You deserve them all and look forward to hearing from you about any that do come your way.

Even being considered has to make you proud!

Good luck on any of these!!  Do you have a preference for any over the others?  What other factors influence that preference?  The show itself?  The actors? ::)

Thanks.  And I'm not sure "proud" is the word I would use to describe about the possibilities...  More like "giddy" :D with a touch of "disbelief" :o.

As for which gig I'd prefer, I'd truly be happy with any of them.  Alas, all three more or less overlap.  And all three are more or less connected in some form or another.  However, there is a chance that two of them could end up working out back to back.

We shall see.

What ever happened to the group Kajagoogoo, which did the song "Too Shy"

They tried to "Hang On" in 1983 and had 7 hits in the UK.

Lead singer was Limahl - "Never Ending Story".
He is Chris Himall and likes anagrams!

Rodzinski would have known all that I would guess.

DR elmore3003, did you make it on air?

Alas, no.  The contestant used up his Lifeline on a medical question by calling a doctor friend of ours in Boston.  The question he gave up on would have been my phone call.  Still, he won around $100,000 and to thank me, he took me to see the original cast of THE PRODUCERS.

About $100,000 would have covered two tickets to the original cast of THE PRODUCERS from what I hear.

Uh oh...Tiger Woods went into the sand trap and said "Hell" on television.

Two hours early?  Oh my DR LAURA....I can imagine Papa doesn't mind, but my guess is that the Princesses were impatient to get to your house!!!
