When I got home from work, I wasn't feeling too great.  I ended up taking a two hour nap, and now it is time to get ready for bed.

At least tomorrow is finally Friday.  I woke up this morning convinced that it was Friday, so today was a very long day!

Women's figure skating must be on tap at the Olympics tonight.  That is the only reason I can think of for everyone being gone from the site.

I assume that this is the last weekend of the Olympics.  Next Sunday is Oscar Night!

My heart goes out to Walter Koenig (star trek) and his family.  Today the body of his son, Andrew (growing pains) was found.  It is horrible to lose a child, worse from suicide.

I am also very sorry to read that they have found the body of Andrew Koenig.  What a terrible loss for his whole family.

All day yesterday, it felt like it was Tuesday.  I don't like that. :P

But at least tomorrow is payday AND I'm supposed to get my income tax refund!! ;D

So, I'm listening to the original Broadway cast recording of Dear World on my computer here at work and the Windows Media Player can go to the Internet and get the show/performer/composer information and display that in the player.  Sometimes it's not very accurate and I have to manually edit the info.  For instance, for the composer, it shows Jerry Herman as composer for all the songs except for the Overture and the Finale.  For the Finale, it lists three people as the composers:  Geoffrey Burgon; Jerry Herman; Stephen Schwartz!

And the list of composers for the Overture are:

David Shire; George Gershwin; Harold Rome; Janet Gari; Jerry Herman; Jerry Ross; John Kander; Leonard Bernstein; Leslie Bricusse; Mark Mancina; Michel Legrand; Miklós Rózsa; Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky; Richard Adler; Richard Rodgers; Stan Freberg; Trevor Rabin

What's that all about??

As for "AI"... I do like(?) the theory(??) that Simon Cowell deliberately sabotaged his final season. ::)

Well, there are FOUR judges, and if he has THAT much sway, then the show deserves what it gets.

There are 4 judges, but basically he is the only one that counts.  I find i end up fast forwarding through the others much of the time.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the show after he's gone. I really think that he is a huge part of the appeal.

Jennifer, I was speaking about Simon's role in selecting the 24 semifinalists. He should get one vote, and if his vote is weighed more heavily with the producers than the other three, then he could sabotage the show by selecting poor singers if he wished. I don't believe that's the case

I've been off in another tab sending a Facebook message to someone I friended earlier today.  My senior year in high school, I played Monica Breedlove in "The Bad Seed," and a very convincing sophomore played Rhoda.  I discovered today that she was posting on the fan page for our old neighborhood.  In response to my friend request, she sent me a message telling me how much she had looked up to me then and how she'd considered me a mentor.  Now, this was 40+ years ago and made me realize that you never know how you're influencing someone.

She's also the second old neighborhood friend to comment on the color of my hair - LOL!

When I went back downstairs, I ended up skimming through today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. The fellas weren't on (they're not scheduled until next week some time later in the week or so I read), but it looks like some folks were sitting around nervously waiting on the operation to help the baby survive.
