RE:  Last night's post total.

I really don't think that 136 posts on a Thursday evening is anything terrible.  Actually, since Matt left, I have expected we would have an all-time low sooner that we did.

I just had a very weird phone call.  The caller I.D. said it was an unknown caller, but I picked it up anyway.  Of course, I then had a recording saying that all of staff were busy helping others, but please hold on.  Again, I normally don't wait for the next available salesperson, but before I could hang up the salesperson came on the line

So far, not terribly weird.  Just wait.

The salesman says may I please speak to.................. And then he says my ex-wife's name.  Not my last name, but the very unusual last name that she had before we were married.  I have not seen the woman in twenty years, nor have I even spoken to her in sixteen years.  And today someone is calling my house asking for her?  ??? ???  And I have an unlisted phone number.

136 excellent postings isn't terrible, nor did it end up being our all-time low, which I believe was just under 120 posts on this board.

There was really bad weather near Fargo yesterday.  Has Dakota checked in?

No, but you can probably catch her at Facebook.

Do you know where your ex-wife is?  Did they tell you how they got your number?

I say - I'll take them!!! So I have wads of lobelia - all colors - wads of begonias, impatiens, and something called euphorbia - mostly ailing, but just need some water, fa' chrissakes!!

I've been up here at the cabin for 2 weeks - it has rained almost every day... and has only been up into the 70's twice... most days it stays in the mid-50's... oy.

And - I am beset by raccoons... the babies from last year (you've seen the pictures) seem to have survived the winter... their mothers are back, and are obviously nursing new litters. Meanwhile, the yearlings are quite tame, and very present. They follow me like dogs. Oy.

I am still alive.. rattled and have seen WAY too many warnings, storm clouds and pictures of tornados hit too close to family and firends...

Wadena and Mentor, MN were severely damaged.  The C-Store was destroyed in Mentor however, two women survived by hugging the toilet.

Now, I know what people mean when they say the "C" word, but I didn't know they had stores.

TOD:

Assuming they arrive, I'll be watching the newest seasons of ENTOURAGE, THE CLOSER and a HBO show that I'm unfamiliar with (but sounds like fun), HUNG.

 :o

[Yes, that's what it refers to.]

 ::)

There's a new show on MTV2 called "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" about high school kid with a seemingly very large appendage.

Last night's first run through of BLITHE SPIRIT ran almost three hours......I shall be cutting the play today.

Cut the first half of Act I; Scene 1.

Couldn't they just pick up the cues?

Not with BLITHE SPIRIT.  The first half of Act 1, before the guests arrive is deadly.
