Oh!  I'm sorry, Ginny, I forgot to finish the story of my move.  I will be moving about 50 feet from my present location.  I will be moving into Apartment #19 in my building (to get away from those noisy kids next door).

Seriously, the move does away with the one flight of stairs I have had for the past five years, but still gives me a second floor balcony from the front of the building.  The manager is completely re-doing the apartment to my specifications.  New paint job in my choice of colors, new carpeting, and wood floors in the kitchen and bathroom (instead of that nasty carpet that I have had to live with in those two rooms).  Best of all, the floor plan is identical to my current apartment, so It is like not moving at all.

Der Brucer is going to hog the television tonight.  He loves TAM, and Cold Case, and whatever that show is that follows them both.  After a certain point, they all run together and seem the same to me.

I don't know if I'm going to watch Iron Chef America or not.  After a while, they all run together and seem the same to me.   :-\

DR TCB - this is the first I've heard of your impending move.

I thought I had missed something.

TCB-where are you moving to?  Is it far from the "kids"?

Jane - I didn't have a chance to tell you last night how much I liked your story about Keith meeting Mitch Albom.

It is very nice of the manager.  However, I have been in this complex longer than almost anyone else in the building, so he and the owners felt it was the least they could do.

My old apartment had carpet in the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. But wood floors in the living room.

Hi Crew!

I'm angry. Why? Well there is a commercial for jewels or gold or something that features a clip from IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Now, people made a big deal years ago, that the movie was shown too much on TV and the govt. declared it a classic, and it was protected and NBC was allowed the exclusive broadcast rights, etc. And now it's okay to have this classic movie shilling for some jewelry concern? This is a travesty, a crock, and a shame.

At least the ad didn't call it a Clarence Sale.  (Or did they?)

I haven't watched Lou Dobbs enough to notice this, but speaking of interruptions, Richard Dreyfuss was a guest on Bill Maher's show and Bill Maher let Dreyfuss speak uninterrupted for like 5 full minutes. It was odd to see.

Yesterday's OSU/Michigan score = 42/39
Last night's Ohio Lottery pick 4  = 4239

Weird, huh?

So, they think It's a Wonderful Life is a gem of a film?
