We had two home with enclosed back porches and loved them. Our cats also liked them, especially the second home in Conneticut which had a little creek running through the back yards with ducks floating by.

He was a young man from St. Augustine Fl (another story called him a Long Island native), had been passing out conspiracy-based leaflets, and then doused himself with something and set himself on fire.

He died. No one is sure what statement he was making other than sacrificing himself over idiotic conspiracy theories.

I didn't open the articles about him as they warned about the photos. Thanks for the short unexplainable explanation.

I am currently reading Absolution by Alice McDermott which takes place in Vietnam in 1963. There is a bit of a rant by one person trying to understand why Buddhist monks set himself on fire.
