There is a reason I normally just order a straight drink of Bourbon or Scotch, the mixed drinks go to my head too quickly.

I was surprised to receive an email from my medical group today, asking me to fill out a little survey. 99% of the questions were about my doctor, as if there are no other factors. They provided a space for feedback. I told them what I thought of their facility, but I don't want someone turning this into a criticism of the doctor. I've seen some surveys that are structured like that.

Those surveys are popular these days.

Friday evening greetings!  Just checking in to apologize for being E & T all day today and to tell you that I will be again tomorrow.  I had an early doctor's appointment today for a routine fasting blood test, so Richard and I went to Hamilton for a late breakfast and a noon lecture on local native American history.  Had a nap when we got home, dinner, and some TV, and now it's time for bed.

Tomorrow morning I have to be at Katie's at 8am to carpool to Springfield, OH, for the Southwest Ohio AAUW Regional Conference.  I'm not  particularly interested, but our local president has been on the planning committee and several of us are going to support her.  It will be nice to be with my girlfriends for the day and I should be home in time for Michigan's second (and, I hope, not last) March Madness game.

All in all, I'd rather be in New York this weekend for "I Married an Angel" and Doug and Jon's Equinox Cocktail Party.

Oh, well...

I happened to watch the extras on the Man from Rio Blu-ray.  And tomorrow's notes will be all about the little puff-piece with a French record producer who has the temerity to say HE and the widow Delerue uncovered the stereo tapes of the score.  This little moron already wrote that the widow Delerue's Man from Rio cupboard was empty and that only four cues in mono existed - the rest of the tapes were "lost."  He WROTE this in a booklet.  And how he's a hero for finding the stereo tapes - what he found was our CD taken from the tapes that I found.  He tried to cause us legal trouble because, well, he's an idiot - it didn't work, I received no apologies from anyone and now HE discovered the tapes - they either used our CD or they had MGM do transfers for them.  Of course, if they were reasonable people I could have saved them a LOT of money and sent them our transfers - we had every note of the score and every cue on our CD.  So, I went back and found that correspondence and will have some fun this evening.

I don't think I had ever been to San Juan Capistrano.

Tonight, we went to Texas Pride barbecue, which has a Friday fish fry as well as live country music.

I watched the last of SAFE. I didn't find it particularly implausible, just not very satisfying. They mamged to keep the tension up until the last episode, though.

Shows I prefer are THE BRIDGE, THE TUNNEL, and BODYGUARD. BODYGUARD, IMHO, is a must-see.

I then watched an inspiring episode of QUEER EYE. I do love that show.

Yes, everybody and their brother does them.

Well, I need to head to the theater.  My friend Margo is going to go tonight.  I wonder what she'll think of it.

Be back later.

Margo liked it!  She laughed a little louder than most people, but everyone seemed (as usual) to enjoy it!

ChocZero is a small company and would like to see small stores sell their products. Jane, if you know of any in your area you might want to let them know. The customer reviews are very positive. Did we mention that they sell chocolate syrup, too?

Thanks Jeanne.  I saw the syrup but am not a bit fan of chocolate syrup.  There is a specialty market here I might check out, however, I don't go enough to have them stock something for me.

They do have other flavors of syrups.  I've had several, and they've all been pretty darned good...and quite thick.

Yes, very much.  Martin Clunes, as always, was excellent.  Did you notice his wife was the executive of the show?

I just rarely use syrup of any kind.  I like Dupar's boysenberry syrup.  I wish they offered a sugar free version.
