I think I wrote that I feel pretty much the way MR BK does about My Week With Marilyn.
And the word of the day is: PREANTEPENULTIMATE!
I have packed us a lunch: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,
Betsy and her mother are in Seattle this weekend so it is a bachelor weekend here Chez K.

What - didn't she leave you with an extensive Honey-Do list to occupy you and the boys?
der Brucer
DR Jane that is very weird about Bryan and them saying they would see him in july. He should probasbly follow up. Although it was probably just someone answering who did not read what he wrote properly. I also think his friend should follow up because there had to be an error somewhwew. His first choice must think he got matched somewhere else.
Here I think peanut butter and strawberry jam is more popular. I really like it.I'm not a fan of strawberry jam. My favorite is plum cinnamon but I can't find it anymore. I like blackberry & huckleberry very much. I have apricot jam I mix with pineapple vanilla bean we got in Bora Bora.

I'm notoriously self-directed. ;D
Go Gonzaga!
I suspect he'll not have that pleasure for too long. The neighbor parents think it's gteat fun to have the little one happily run up and down the center of the road - Dad even plays chase with him. Mom went for a walk, down the enter of the road, with a baby in a carriage and had Junior romping about with her - no attempt to hold his hand or keep his activities to the side of the road. With this "street conditioning" he'll be road kill before Pre-school.
Well, you've read the notes, the notes drove the point about drivers home, and now it is time for you to post until the driven cows come home.
I have packed us a lunch: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, carrot sticks, grapes, and apples. I have to set a good example for the child. I really wanted to pack a Hostess Cupcake.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich Laura? I've never heard of such a thing (at least not on this side of the Atlantic). Sounds revolting ;D
Go Gonzaga!
Considering who they're playing, I'll second that!
No green beer here, DR TCB. I'm watching basketball and cooking pork chops.

I am home and very tired: it's been a long long day. My breakfast with Jeff was fun. He says we defibitely saw PYGMALION and went backstage to see Amanda, but he claims he was not with me at CARRIE. Who the heck could it have been?
DR TCB, my shift at the book sale today was only 2 hours.
Here's an Izzy's Reuben from Cincinnati for you:

As usual, my Kritzerland package arrived after everyone else's. Did anyone's head roll vis a vis the typos on the CD label?
That sandwich DOES look good, doesn't it?
That sandwich DOES look good, doesn't it?
Although, I'd order half a Reuben and a bowl of beef barley soup.
The theatre company in which I have just been named their "Resident" music director - which is basically a title that comes with an email address so that patrons can contact me directly with their concerns/praises, etc... and of course, doesn't come with an extra cash... but oh well. Anyhow... they chose a season for next year (starting in September) and while it's not public yet, all I can tell you is that I see a lot of legal pink and marine green (and lots of Asian percussion) in the coming year.
And that's all I have... isn't that enough????

P & J is very American, plus I believe their peanut butter isn't as good as our is.

Well, there was a smiley face, so I wasn't sure. And then I thought that maybe "jelly" didn't mean the same thing in England.
Apparently, delivery food in Tacoma consists of several brands of pizza and one Chinese cafe. That is it!

I don't think anyone delivers food out to us. I've had florist call & offer to put extra flowers in the arrangement if I pick it up.

That was a clever idea. Did you pick it up?
Have any of our East Coast members heard any early buzz (good or bad) on NICE WORK?
PB and J is also quite common here. However now that peanuts are not allowed at schools ... well my nieces have not eaten too much peanut butter. In fact they do not even recommend that kids try penut butter early in case they are allergic. My two year old niece has never even tried it. I find that crazy.
I may have missed a mention of this here, but does anyone know what (on earth) has happened that would have Amazon.com cancelling pre-orders for the 1953 "Titanic" blu-ray? It's no longer on their site. While my order is still in the system, any attempt I make to see details of it take me back to the log-in page (and I was already logged in).
I've heard a few people have received e-mails from Amazon.com telling them that their orders have been cancelled.
DR TCB I am also not good at guessing games. I am not sure how many shows he was referring to in that one sentence. First thing I thought of re: Legal pink was LEGALLY BLONDE.
I loves me a good peanut butter/jelly sammich. Preferably grape jelly.
On occasion, I love me a good peanut butter/banana sammich. Let the "ewwws" begin anew!

I hear it's one more musical to use "Someone To Watch Over Me," which has been in CRAZY FOR YOU, which is ridiculous, given the number of songs in the Gershwin catalogue. Since I believe that most of these Gershwin revisals have to do with extending copyright and greed, you'd think they'd want to get more songs into their grasp.

I am sleepy already. My new mattress is calling to me. I think I will try to go to bed early today. I am going to aim for 10pm. I have had a hard time falling asleep at night since the time change.

DR Jane how long does it take for you to drive into town.

Rumor has it that Jrand61 bought up every copy available.
It seems everyone who has seen ONCE loves it. Is this play based on the movie? Keith & I didn't like the movie at all & especially didn't enjoy the music.
My internet is being very wonky this evening, so I think I'll say - 'night!
They are identical. But they do not really tell you how much water to put in it. I can tell that there is more water in this one. So far after one night it was very comfy. But i am not sure if more water is better or worse.I am sleepy already. My new mattress is calling to me. I think I will try to go to bed early today. I am going to aim for 10pm. Are you enjoying the new mattress more or less than your old one or are they identical?

I was also underwhelmed and kind of sad about it, since so many people seemed to absolutely love everything about it.
I wonder if they recommend waterbeds to people with back problems. I findit wonderful.
Maybe everyone is watching March Madness.
I am trying to find out if the hospital allows cell phones for patients.
The hospital requires all cell phones to be shut-off when entering. That applies to visitors, so I don't know what the rule might be for inmates (LOL!).
I think my job is done for the evening.

Last night on JEOPARDY, Mr. Speilberg was involved with Final Jeopardy. The Final Answer was: "The film contains the direction, 'Start with the tone..... Up a full tone.... down a major third.... Now drop an octave..... Up a perfect fifth'"
I had P B & J for breakfast. It was very good.

what is the tune used to communicate in Close Encounters of the Third Kind?

Laura I think it was very noble of you to pack grapes and apples in stead of cupcakes

And carrot sticks.
We both nibbled on carrot sticks.
And where, might I ask, is DR George? He went off to usher last evening, but never came back?
Perhaps he met the love of his life, and they have been in bed ever since.

Think Robertson's.
DR Vixmom I don't know why you say grape is traditional.

OH! You're right - jelly is what we know as jello or gelatin here - Doug it is a peanut buttter and what you ight call "jam" sandwich - traditionally here we use grape - what we call jam I think you call preserves

Peanut Butter goes with everything...especially mayonnaise!
T.O.D.
One of my Top Ten Favorite Films of all-time is CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. However, I prefer the original version of the film rather than the two or three different versions or Director's Cuts, or enhanced versions that followed it. The original version was like a religious experience for me. I dragged everyone I knew to see that film. Every time I saw the film in a theater, the entire audience sat through all of the final credits without moving.
Peanut Butter goes with everything...especially mayonnaise!
Yuck!
Hi george
I keep expecting bruce to change the posts to the 18th
